Basic . No blankets or Doonas. Toilet and shower infested with leeches. $200 per night in March- it’s a rip off. And where were all the friendly wild animals? We saw a few Roos the first day

I am sorry you didn't enjoy your stay. Bedding can be hired if required - if you hadn't booked them before you stay we could have supplied them for you. The 'leeches' were millipedes, unfortunately they come with the first rain. As the cottages sleep up to 8 people I don't thing that $25 per night per person ($200 per cottage) is unreasonable.

Pros: Location
Cons: Found mouse droppings on single bed ensemble along with cockroaches in main bedroom....consequently slept on lounge
Cleanliness: Found mouse droppings...; Will give this place a miss in future....don't mind just adequate facilities but no excuse for not being clean.

Stephen, I am so sorry that you found your cottage to be a little unclean. I noticed you loved the location - which is in the middle of a National Park. As such there are lots of animals (large and small) that live here. At times our cute little Marsupial friends pop into the cottages and leave a 'calling card.'

Pros: The location and very friendly owner (Wendy)
Cons: The cottage is very old and very old kitchen, no real atmosphere
Location: Away from it all
Facilities: Old; Value: Acceptable price, Fair price; Service: Very friendly and honest; Cleanliness: Very old; Bed linen that you can hire is very clean and nice. Had a great night of sleep. Hand-fed a Joey :-). Surroundings are perfect!
