I believe the room advertisements as per view etc should be managed more appropriately every picture shows the same view and when you purchase and get a view that your think your paying for a don’t get it becomes a problem. I feel that it should be a real picture for each view your actually going to get. I understand this is first world problems but people spend a decent amount of money on these rooms and a feel possibly they should be appropriately advertised.

Great bar. The room was gorgeous. Welcome pack much appreciated. It was a shame the restaurant isn’t open Monday nights.

We checked into the hotel (3 adults) to be told we have 3 single beds (in a deluxe room that we paid A LOT of money for). When questioned, the hotel manager told us that twin means 1 and that we only paid for singles beds. When we asked why the picture is 2 double bed, the hotel said they take no responsibility for what websites show. She said we have to accept that room for that night (on level 13) and the following night we will be upgraded to an executive room on a high level (they said 20 and up). We reluctantly accepted. The following day, they put us on level 16. When questioned, they said everyone has checked in now and we do not have anything better for you. They continued to tell me twin meant 1, and that level 16 is high enough. Rubbish service, I would not recommend to anyone. Go somewhere where you get value for money and where they actually care about your dispute.

Booked on line and when I went to check in, I was told that the room that I had was not the actual room that was shown on line when I booked and if I wanted that room, then I had to pay an extra $60. No mention of parking fees until I checked out and was hit with a $58 fee. Porter service was great, but customer service re room was pretty poor and they did not seem interested.

Mostly pleasant staff, but the hotel is very poorly maintained. Massive cues for the 8 lifts since only 2 now work. When the outdated keypad on the gym locker malfunctioned, the gym staff's key wouldn't work either, and the beyond arrogant security staff finally arrived. She shot the breeze with the gym staff for about 5 minutes while we waited, then wandered in to open the locker acting as though we were criminals and she was being massively inconvenienced by this favour she was doing us. After waiting 15 minutes for the lift from the gym (I would have taken the stair, but feared being arrested by entitled arrogant security) one packed lift arrived and the staff member on board helpfully suggested that we get the next lift. We didn't. Our room cost us over $500 for the night.
