Staff great, very clean, but rooms on the smaller side. Beds somewhat hard and blankets thin, on a cold night we had to turn heating on and one my my children still had to sleep with clothes on to stay warm. That said, a good choice if all you want to do is sleep and you'll spend the rest of the day out.

We have often stayed here because of its location: a downhill walk TO Taverners Hill Tram (Light Rail) station and a downhill walk FROM Summer Hill railway station, both being a pleasant stroll, day or night. However, the motel property is looking in need of a good spruce up and our "Family Room" was too small for four people, seemingly acknowledged by the absence of any chairs or stools in the room. I had to move the bunk bed close to the wall to make the top bunk safe; to use the top bunk, the air-conditioner, which had a power cord needing replacing, needed to be disconnected (so the cord wouldn't be knocked in the night and because it blew straight onto the top bunk!). Room servicing was a little inconsistent during the stay, but met our needs adequately. The motel website isn't up to the task (I couldn't book for more than two people); wot-if was much easier to use and I got an extra $50 off with a mates-rates discount.

Convenient place to stay but very dated. Room stank of smoke and the toilet leaked onto the floor in the bathroom. Someone had a party in a nearby room which went on until around 3am.

Rooms weren’t cleaned properly each day, clean towels and toiletries not provided had to ask for them, beds not made each day, mould in bathroom

Room was dirty! Dead pigeon sitting in the middle of the step to enter the room. Only two towels provided even though booked for 3 guests. Roll of toilet paper not replaced, red lipstick on the pillows. Would not recommend.
