Great location, comfy beds. Noise levels of other people on the floor and lack of concern when reported to reception. Room service only done when I requested it. We required towels daily and toilet paper. Door lock constantly was not working so we were locked out of room on a number of occations.

Our stay overall was fabulous. Staff were friendly and helpful the room was roomy, clean and tidy. Just a few things the hotel could look at improving on would be general maintenance as the kitchenette was a bit dated with the bar fridge unbalanced and cupboards loose, some of the lights in the bathroom were not working. First impressions at the reception area was beautiful, but the carpet in the hallways outside the rooms could be replaced it looked dirty and stained. The motel is walking distance to shopping, and transport which was awesome.

Easy to find; close to Westfield; comfy bed; had a decent sized balcony with a surprise view of the harbour bridge and city; and was quiet more than I thought it could be for where it was. The staff memeber on shift Friday lunch time at check in, Saturday and Sunday morning at checkout was helpful, friendly and so very genuine. I appreciated her efficiency without rushing and she remembered who I was every time. She is a valuable asset to Mantra.

Upon arrival, after booking well in advance and having my printed receipt and email confirmation, I was questioned at reception about my booking and asked if i was paying by my card on the day, I had to pull out my receipt and show them that it had been paid, where the receptionist wasn't sure what to do and ended up just giving me a key to a room and saying he will try sort it out with someone else, the whole check in process was horrible. I than got to my room which wasn't great, cracks in the tiles, door handles missing from doors, fingerprints on tables. The first morning of my stay I woke up to no power, and had to call reception where I was told I would have to wait an hour for a maintenance guy to come to my room. I was also told that it was my whole floor and that other people were having problems too. I informed them I was their on business and had to be out of the room in an hour and needed to have a shower and get ready, and that its not something I wanted to do at 6am in the dark. Also on the second night, My key cards didn't let me into my room, I ended up taking it down to the reception, where the guy was very rude and tried to blame me for keeping it in my wallet next to other cards and said that why it didn't work, so the rest of my stay I had to hold onto and carry around a key card on its own. Definitely wont be staying again.

Although the renovation has tried to make the rooms more modern, there’s still the old bath and shower head in the bathroom! Pillows not great but the bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Good close location to what we needed.
