The Sheraton used to be a great 5 star hotel but it's lost its gloss. The staff are very "slap dash". I left an item in the room but when I rang to see if it was possible to have it sent back to me, they were very unhelpful and couldn't have cared less.

The coffee maker didn’t make hot coffee- only comes out lukewarm. Not enough sugar and coffee in the rooms. No need to replace the soap daily- save your money. Not sure if the offices next to my window could see in - so kept the shutters closed most of the time during work hours. Otherwise was very nice very roomy, clean and comfortable.

We just had a standard room but it was probably one of the best and well appointed we have stayed in. The buffet breakfast was excellent

Brilliant hotel and staff. Great location, and fabulous breakfast. Bathroom and bedroom both spotlessly clean. Probably the best bed I have ever slept in - I woke up this morning and asked my husband if we could just move in because we were so well rested! My only two (very small) niggles were: 1. It would be wonderful if the breakfast plates could be warmed so that the delicious bacon doesn't get cold while waiting for your specially-made omelette to join it. 2. It feels a bit alarming stepping out of the front door into a roadway teeming with taxis. Could something be done to get guests on foot safely onto Elizabeth Street? Thanks to all the staff for making our brief stay so pleasant - we'll be back! PS, booking at the last minute via Wotif meant that it was even pretty reasonably priced for such a great establishment.

Certainly! Here’s a revised version of your review: First-Time Visit: A Mixed Experience Our first visit to this establishment was to celebrate our son’s birthday with our granddaughter. Overall, we had a positive experience, but there were a few hiccups. The Good: The ambiance and service were excellent. Our family enjoyed the occasion. The Not-So-Good: Unfortunately, two out of the three rooms we occupied had requested a roller bed each did not arrive as promised for our grandchildren. Despite being told that we wouldn’t need to pay extra for the third person in the room, the staff an additional $115. The sofa, which we attempted to use as a makeshift bed for our grandkids, was incredibly uncomfortable—almost like sleeping on a slab of concrete. In the end, all three of us squeezed into the king-sized bed, which was far from ideal.

Noora on the front desk enabled a quick and easy check-in, and was both friendly and professional. Matheo in the restaurant was knowledgable and attentive, secured a menu change for my partner and I and explained each item well. Great staff, great service! We will definitely be coming back

Every year we host a national launch in the hotel. This time I decided to stay onsite and make my stay more comfortable. The room was wonderful and I had a lovely sleep with the block out blinds. Breakfast was also delicious and there was a lot to choose from.

Good accommodation in ideal location, however the Park View Room with 1 King Bed that I paid for was indeed not a King Size Bed at all, but 2 Single Beds pushed together to make up a King Sized Bed & this was a little disappointing as the Single Beds that were pushed together where one of the Single Beds was a little higher than the other Single Bed that it was attached to & there was an uncomfortable BUMP where both of these singles mattresses joined & also one mattress was softer than the other mattress. A little disappointed considering it is a 5 Star Hotel & should have a proper King & Queen Size mattress in their rooms that are actually advertised as a King or Queen Size Bed
