Cons: Was advised holding deposit would be released upon checking out.. Still waiting 5days later only 2 days to go and funds will release automatically.
Have previously stayed before, Pleasant enough was upgraded with a great view.

Excellent customer service

From the moment we arrived our experience with the concierge it set the scene for a great weekend. All staff were genuinely helpful. The Jamison Club is highly recommended. Overall, I recommend this hotel.

We stay at the hotel regularly and this stay was no exception to the wonderful stays we have had previously. Staff were attentive and the room facilities were great. We had club access and utilized this twice... Although the range of food hasn't seemed to alter much over the years, we still can't complain about the quality and quick and friendly service by staff during cocktail hour.

The Amora is close to the city

Pros: everything was good a nice big bath to soak away your troubles.
Cons: all good for my visit
Location: We where close to all the attractions within easy walking distance to Circular Quay and Darling harbour The city shopping and places to eat
From the moment you arrive at the The Amora Hotel you feel special the staff are helpful and you start your holiday in style. I have stayed at The Amora a few times and always enjoy my stay. I had a weekend in Sydney with my 9 year old Grandson visiting the Taronga Zoo and Manly Beach. The swimming pool at The Amoura was a hit with him and also the king size bed.

Great place to stay

Stayed for 3 nights and had a wonderful experience. Kids loved pool on 11th floor. Breakfast and pickies everyday plus unlimited drinks all day. Staff are all very helpful. Would return and recommend the hotel to friends and family.

A disappointing stay-used to be a classy place

Pros: Location + past experience led me back; what's happened to the place?
Cons: See above
Location: Great location, shame about the experience
Poor check-in and check-out experience - staff were confused and it seemed to take a long time to get matters straight. In a three day staff, the room was only cleaned once, despite hanging the 'please make up my room' sign on the door. A request for a g & t at the level 1 bar one evening received a frothy muddle in a low quality glass - for $14.

Really nice hotel in a great spot

I have stayed a number of times over the years and have never been disappointed. Easy to get to via train from the airport with Wynyard Station nearby. Staff always friendly, rooms well appointed and always clean. Unfortunately me me this time, construction kicked off at 6.00 am on a Saturday morning nearby.
