Views and location = 5 star. Cleaning, staff service were all 1 star/questionable. When he walked into the room, it smelt a little like farm. There was dust and dirtiness on everything water spots all over the shower someone else’s hair nothing felt clean the actual rooms itself. Everything felt so old and not comfortable. This hotel needs a major refresh. Also the staff we’re not friendly, helpful or responsive a little disappointed. Won’t stay again.

Great hotel. A little hard to find the entry but a clean, beautiful hotel with great facilities. The pool was sensational. Gym a little small. Great location though. Definitely be back.

The hotel’s location is very convenient, within walking distance of Circular Quay. It also offers easy access to the light rail. With a fully equipped kitchen, dishwasher, washing machine, and dryer, it’s perfect for family trips with young children. The sofa bed made it comfortable for our family of three. The views of the Harbour Bridge and Opera House are simply magnificent. One downside was the swimming pool, which is located on the upper floor. There were no lifeguards or staff present, and the lighting was dim. The water quality was poor, raising hygiene concerns. Although there are shower facilities, only one person can use them at a time. Towels are not provided, so guests must bring their own from the room, which is inconvenient. It’s better to enjoy swimming at Sydney’s beautiful beaches or outdoor pools.

Quay West has the most fantastic views and was a very comfortable stay. However, a few items were a little dated and needed some maintenance work such as the taps (some did not work) and the dish washer. Overall however it is a great place to stay.
