Good place to live in

Good location, convenient to take a ferry or to enjoy the view of Sydney harbour. The four people room I live in has got its own toilet and bathroom. They are clean but very small. Sheets and the blanket are clean too. No need for sleep bag. It has also got storage locker, but you've got to take your own lock. I haven't got any expensive item with me, so it is OK to leave it unlocked. There is a light and a socket right beside your bed. And plenty of sockets elsewhere in the room. There is also a common room on the third level and a public kitchen with shared kitchenwares on the first floor. Overall, it is good for its price, 50 bucks.

Relaxing yha

What a great refuge in the busy part of Sydney. Plenty of room to spread out relax and recharge the iPhone. Good coffee too.

Basic accommodation

This hotel is great for young travellers. It is in a good position to discover the wonderful Rocks area. But,, for older travellers wanting a bit of ambience and comfort for our $198 the hotel was lacking. No TV, no shampoo or toiletries, no swimming pool. Really just a bed and ensuite. It didn't suit your needs but I'm sure for others it would be fine.

Comfortable bed. Bedding supplied which was great. Backpackers is located on top of this really cool archaeological dig site!

Pros: see above
Cons: some comfy chairs in the rooms - those provided were not good for sitting in for a longish period
As an older traveller, i found the staff most helpful and friendly, the situation convenient and the value excellent. I felt quite well accepted even though looked out of place (grey hair, etc!)

great position modern and quiet

Pros: everything
Cons: Nothing really. Coffee facilities provided in room. Don't expect TV for that price, and who needs it in the centre of the city!!
great position, located up two flights of steps from the rocks and circular quay. ensuite room basic, modern and quiet. Lots of facilities in common rooms and kitchen. Great info and kiosk. Staff very helpful, even finding us a room for 10.30am check-in. Variety of ages (we are mid 50's) and great respectful atmosphere. Incredible position.

Great Stay!

Pros: Everything was clean and neat. Fabulous.
Cons: Nothing that I could see.
Location: Location was fantastic. The views were fabulous and it was so close to everything.
Room was clean and staff were very helpful. The view from the deck was priceless. I would certainly stay there again if I were to visit Sydney again.
