Convenient & comfortable stopover. NB: Transport driver pickup from hotel for our international departure did not load or unload our luggage BUT driver from hotel to domestic departures was professional & loaded/unloaded from van - not sure why service was so different for same $.

The rooms are very much minimalist in contents, an extra chair would be useful as would a bench top next to the sink in the bathroom. The "restaurant" is pushing the definition to its limit. The first evening was there I went upstairs for some dinner and there was nothing hot and the croissant with cheese and ham was certainly NOT fresh. If it had been easy to get to Maccas, KFC etc I would have gone. The breakfast choices were adequate although when there were a fairly large number of Japaneses for breakfast the choices that faced them were a straight forward continental range plus baked beans, sausages and very poorly done scrambled eggs, none of which inspired the Japanese visitors.

Room was good, comfortable, and quiet. Staff members were very friendly, courteous, and helpful. Amenities were basic as far as food was concerned. the cocktail lounge was comfortable and offered a nice view of the airport.

1. Stayed 2 nights. They did not refresh the room. New policy is they don't visit room that guest staying over for 2 nights. Only on the 3rd day. I didnt pay just under $400 a night because the hotel wont hire staff to do what they should do. 2. The tv was so dark, i had to turn off the lights to watch a movie 3. The shower leaked all over the bathroom floor 4. Broken reading light attached to the headboard 5. No complimentary water

The room itself space wise was what was expected. The shower had bugs everywhere. There was zero hot water in the morning for the shower despite running the shower 10 minutes (and flipping the knob each way in case it was backwards). Didn’t get offered any VIP benefits that I was promised. The only reason it’s 3 stars is because my expectations were very low based on reviews and they were basically met. Only stayed here because every other hotel in Sydney was $400USD or more due to an event.

Coffee cups in our room had been used, looks like wiped out with a cloth (inside cup), then placed back on shelf. The outside of cups were filthy, cleary not washed. The tiles in shower recess have major leakes, to the point of water squirting back at you when srepped on.
