THE GOOD 1. The view, cleanliness and location THE BAD 1. The room cards didn't work; we were told to return to the lobby with our luggage until the engineer changed the batteries. 2. The link received didn't work for self-check-out. 3. The self-check-out kiosk in the lobby also failed, so customers leaving needed to join a long queue at reception, wasting their time. 4. The escalator to the bar was not working. A good hotel, but definitely not at a 5-stars level.

The Hyatt was a most pleasant experience. Some highlights were the central location to Darling Harbour and the sites of the city with easy access to Darling Harbour via a back entry. The premises was of an excellent standard, staff, restaurant, wine bar and pub next door. The breakfast dining had an amazing selection on offer, fresh and plentiful. We wished we could have stayed longer.

Room was not clean. Shower had mold and mildew. I was there 2 nights and the sheets weren’t changed after first night. I paid for the harbor view room but the room was on such a low floor, that most of the view is of the roof of the adjacent building. One of the night stand legs was broken.

I didn't have a chance to try the breakfast but it is well located and very easy to get around to many major shopping districts and the main attractions of Sydney, the room was well sized and clean.
