The property was very old and in dire need of an upgrade. The air conditioning system kept me awake all night and sounded like a tractor in the ceiling. There was excessive noise from the street and within the Hallways. The door closers from the front doors of the rooms need to be adjusted so they don't slam heavily everytime someone enters and exits their room because it shakes the walls and the ceiling and stopped me from being able to sleep. The bathroom was something that I would expect of a motel on the side of a Highway.

Close to shops and restaurants.Good walking distance to trains and Westfield. Pool and gym not available due to some renovations.

Easy check in and helpful staff. However, the lifts from the car park were not signposted well. I tried to use the stairs and got stuck in the stairwell which was being converted into fire exit stairs. No phone service in there. Over 30 degrees and up and down the stairs!!! Then. noticed a chalk arrow and followed it. Also, rooms not sound proofed. TV from next door kept me awake.

The rooms are old with only a couple of dim lamps for lighting. No towel rails to hang wet towels on. Smallest fridge available stuffed with mini-bar items with no room to put own items in or make/store ice. The kicker is I was charged 220% for the room & have to wait 1 week (or more) to get my overcharged funds returned. Never staying at any Novotel again

Holes, mould, burn marks in the carpet, holes in the wall, mould in the shower. At least the air con worked well, and the bed were comfy
