At no time during my booking to this property was I informed it was a huge building site.Total messy rabbit warren .At 7 am construction began.Tge furniture in the room I stayed needs to be thrown out.Nasty stains.Need I say more?

Room was average. Was a very strong smell of curry, even in the corridor. We had to buy several air fresheners, spray Glen 20 and have the windows open all the time. By our 4th and last day it started to improve.

A great spot with easy access to local mall and eateries as well as 2 major shopping centres. Easy train ride to airport and city. Also has tons of busses to Bondi beach. Room was large and spacious with all amenities you can think of. Anything else can be requested like hair straighteners and chop sticks etc. Highly recommended.

Problems which should not exist - many examples, one of which was the automatic front doors to the property were stuck both from the inside and outside. There were no instructions posted on either side to open the doors if stuck. It lasted a good 15 minutes and could have been catastrophic in the event of a fire. I would still recommend staying t the Bondi Meriton because of its very convenient location and generally a good standard of cleanliness. Communication between Housekeeping and the Front Desk is non-existent. We delayed our weekly cleaning to coincide with a dinner party; all confirmed; reminded them the day before but they did not come. Housekeeping said they knew nothing about it. Created great inconvenience and eventually, a very rushed and poor job with the cleaning.

Great location. Very comfortable bed. Spacious room - although a bit bland. Good facilities - pool and gym. Would have been nice to have a few snacks / mini bar. It would also be useful to know that you can have use of hair straighteners etc when you book, rather than when you turn up at the hotel.
