Lovely, old world opulence.

The hotel had an Italian restaurant attached to it. I was able to get a meal when I arrived, Also there was an Irish pub, which could have been enjoyed, if I was not so tired. Meals and social activities all at your fingertips. I was not familiar with Sydney, and the hotel supplied all my requirements. Also there was a Taxi rank in front of the building. Everything so convient.

What should be included in the price

For the money we paid to stay one night, I did not expect to pay for parking or breakfast. They should both be included in the price.

Beautiful Art Deco hotel

Pros: Location, parking on site, Art Deco features. Good sized rooms.
Cons: Better in room coffee.
Location: Shopping very close and easy walk to activities like the Aquarium.
This is one of my favourite hotels - close to everything and gorgeous Art Deco features. Could do with better coffee in room. Hope renovations draw further on the Art Deco features rather than aim for bland hotel beige blah.

Great hotel close to Darling Harbour

A great stay. A little slow to check out and I still haven't received the money they withheld from me

A haven of tranquility in the CBD

Pros: Spacious comfortable rooms, beautiful old building. Triple glazing meant a peaceful nights sleep!
Cons: Aircon was a little old and hard to operate.
Location: Perfect location right in the centre of town to explore Sydney. Walk everywhere!
Having booked a really good rate last minute, we were pleasantly surprised with the size and quality of our corner room!

Majestic Hotel, great location, great price

Pros: Everything!!
Cons: Package Price deal for 5 days would be good.
Location: Darling Harbour, Museums, Galleries, Circular Quay, Hyde Park, Royal Theatre lots and lots more!
My daughter and myself needed to stay in Sydney for 2 nights recently to attend a meeting. Our first impression of the Grace Hotel was a "Wow!" we felt like VIP's. We are not regular travellers and I hadn't been to Sydney in 20 years. The Majestic style of the Hotel, the Pasta/Pizza restaurant, the foyer, the concierge, the reception, the sfaff, we felt as we were in a Hollywood Movie. The Grace Hotel was immaculate with cleanliness, the twin double room we booked was just that, a double bed for each of us. The decor was modern and the bathroom had hot showers, good water pressure and was a large room All the accessories that were stated were there. The price affordable for a short stay, it was a treat we spent wisely on ourselves. The location was perfect for us needing to be near to Martin Place, and was central to Darling Harbour, Hyde Park and the Quay. We would highly recommend this Hotel to anyone staying in Sydney CBD.

Nice Hotel in the heart of the city

Pros: Located in a great part of the city. Very cleanly presented and service was excellent
Cons: I found the pillows uncomfortable
Location: State Theatre, Sydney Tower only a block or two away
The hotel was great, within walking distance to the State Theatre. Our only bad experience was getting there. We phoned the hotel and were rightly told that the hotel car park was located at 124 Clarence St. We entered this address into google maps and it directed us to the block further north. As all streets are one way it took us about 30 minutes to go around the block in peak hour traffic. Nearly missed our show. This is not the fault of the hotel but it is handy information to have if you're driving there.
