they upgraded me to penthouse which i was excited about, but it’s just a 2 story apartment, extremely loud noises and can hear the play in the pool till about 930 pm, few issues but worst was smell from the drains, i thought it would get better after night 1 but nope the receptionist lovely and then offered a bottle of wine but is only a 10$ bottle so gave it away i won’t be going back also they actually need to give all the lovely cleaners a trolley instead of bags being left at lift or near the apart doors

Great location, easy walking distance to Darling Harbour and transport links and fantastic friendly staff. The hotel was clean, but very tired and in need of some refreshing, tiles damaged and grout falling out/missing, poor repairs, holes in walls, chips and paint missing everywhere etc. Really needs some quality upgrading/refreshing.

The location of the hotel was convenient for our stay. The car park is not well suited for large cars. The staff we very friendly & helpful. Our room was ok, the shower head did leak & it was not very big, I would not like to get into the shower if I was pregnant!!! But it was clean, the A/C worked which was great considering the humid weather we experienced.

Everything was fantastic. Staff were professional, helpful and super friendly. The location was sensational, so close to everything. This included: Restaurants, Bars, Theaters, Darling Harbour, Metro to Airport, Tram, Buses, China Town and Seafood Market. For a property like this the price was excellent, highly recommend.

Front desk staff were very welcoming, a huge asset to the hotel. Bed was very comfortable, room was clean and tidy. Good to have USB points in the room for charging. A shame that towels aren't checked as one had a huge hole in it and there were not a standard amount of towels, hand towels and wash cloths. Air conditioning was a bit tricky but maintenance were prompt at fixing it.

Do not stay here. Besides being noisy and dated, the shower wouldn’t work. When I requested a refund for one night of my 2 night stay it was refused. The property should not being rented out at all if basic amenities do not work.

Great location. The rest was a shambles. Sent various emails to book a carpark, got there, apparently no booking. No problem, found a Wilson close by. Went to check in, room won’t be ready til 5pm, please sit and wait. I have 3 young children and had spent 5hrs driving. Was not happy. Tried to charge me extra (apparently for the car parking, that apparently I hadn’t booked?). Shower was dirty. We had to ask for soap and toilet paper! 5th bed was jammed in, no light, no table etc. No hooks for towels. I don’t mind but when you’re paying close to $400 a night I expect more. Will not be staying again.

Good location - decent apartment but overall disappointing stay Having observed many negative as well as positive feedbacks for this property we decided to book because of its location and affordability - check in was easy and we were provided with a warm welcome and all necessary information for our stay We arrived early evening after a lengthy delay at the airport because of poor weather in and around Sydney and dropped our bags and went out for a meal locally immediately . When we returned around 2230 and got ready for bed it was only then that we noticed the carpet in our room was soaking wet not only in the middle of the room but also by the bed . We we’re dealt with professionally and advised here was an alternative less modern room but this was also affected by the recent bad weather and whilst the carpet was less wet there was a smell from the balcony and it may affect our comfort , they suggested that we report this in the morning to management who would offer some kind of compensation for all the troubles - having expected a partial reimbursement the only offer apart from another bottle of wine was for a discounted return . We have had various correspondence with the management and informed them that this is undoubtedly a general offer not specific to our issues and as we live in England this offer would in fact cost us more money to return which in the end has fallen on deaf ears Disappointed

We enjoyed this hotel as was within walking distance of all the things we wanted to do - clean, friendly. The parking was tight and make sure to book a space - we were happy to be able to park there - only for small vehicles though!

On the positive side the rooms are well appointed and the location is pretty convenient. However, the rooms are not cleaned properly. Just on a very topical basis and in one my son and his girlfriend found two roaches. Upon arrival we also found pistachio shells underneath one of the tables in plain sight. If they can solve this problem the hotel would be quite good and the location is a plus
