Great location, close to shops and tram service. The one negative factor is that on the 27th floor we could hear the constant drone from the fans of the of the large cooling towers located on the rooves of nearby four-story buildings. I used ear plugs for the first 2 nights to sleep but then got used to the background noise and slept OK without ear plugs after that.

The suite was very spacious and spotlessly clean. The beds were very comfortable. It was good having housekeeping on day 3 and the laundry facilities were really good. The only downside was a slight lack of certain kitchen equipment e.g no bread knife or small saucepan. We had an amazing stay!

The TV doesn't work then the washer didn't work. The staff came fast and fixed the problem. Have to ask for the amenities. It is not provided in the room. The hotel is nice but something is lacking for the price point.

Staff was the main reason for our positive report. They are looking after our luggage for free while we take a quick trip to Canberra. They helped us get the train into town and actually walked us out to the street. We were able to check in at 9:30 when we got off the ship.

For a 5 star-rated hotel, the cleanliness in general (particularly our kitchen floor which really needed a mop down) and upkeep of the bathrooms were not really up to standard. We had a few hiccups getting the correct requested complimentary amenities. The real drawcard of this place is the location. It was a bit strange and inconvenient to stay in a room that did not have PowerPoint/USB port access to charge the phone next to the bedside table on either side. Very convenient going to Chinatown or exploring the CBD. The main entrance is tucked into a smaller street so ordering an Uber from here is great. Parking was also a bonus here.
