Beautiful historic building and gracious feeling. Bed was rather awful - saggy and soft. Woke with sore backs and pillows ordinary. Bathroom / difficult to get into the shower over the bath. All very clean and staff very welcoming. Probably not suitable for older people sadly. Radio not connected and too hot in the room. Couldn’t close the curtains. Sorry to be so critical but you did ask !!!

Fantastic location and beautiful old building. However we felt that at this price point the facilities could’ve been a little better. It needs a bit of tlc especially in the bathrooms. A coffee pod machine in the room would be great too instead of very minimal options for hot beverages.

Loved our stay it was amazing and such comfortable pillows and blankets. The only issue seems to be the power. Our phones struggled to charge and the tv kept flickering. The shower also always seemed to slowly get hotter as you showered. But definitely would come back again. The area is excellent ans the staff were amazing.

A lovely old Hotel with amazing character and atmosphere, but by no means old in service and standards. The Cricketers Bar is a great spot for a few beers and a simple feed.Breakfast was a great dining experience.
