Disappointed. Not ranting. Just didn't meet expectations. Not even close. Reception greeting mediocre. Come on guys, that is your first impression. 3 out of 4 concierge very ordinary. One of them so rude & unfriendly, it was astounding. Have people forgotten what their job entails? Greeting & serving. Rust showing through walls on metal strips in room, paint peeling, corroded (VERY badly) door frames, very dirty patio which made it virtually un-useable. Most team members were "ok". One incredibly rude (concierge). One lovely & friendly food delivery & one friendly & helpful housekeeping person who came to clean the dirty patio. I hope H.R. are able to utilise some customer feedback to encourage their team members to try harder. After all, it is now impossible to "require" them to do their job with a smile. bring back the good old days when you had a standard you had to keep up, or your job was at risk. Not for an "off day"........ but for dodgy bad attitudes & a complete lack of give-a-crud effort.

Great location, wonderful gardens, friendly and helpful. The rooms were a good size and very clean. Breakfast was great. Lots of options. Harrison restaurant was very tasteful, good food, great presentation. The WiFI was shotty, but WiFI in Australian is marginal at best anyway. That's more of an infrastructure problem. My other disappointment was the drinks at the pool bar. Probably the worst drinks I have ever had. The gym is across the street (too far away) and in the worst shape every.

The staff were incredibly friendly and really made us feel like our stay mattered to them. The resort itself is incredible - the restaurants, the pools, gardens and our room. All beautifully presented and clean. The food in all of the restaurants is delicious, particularly Harrison’s. We highly recommend.

This place needs a good overhaul, it is stuck in the 80's. There is nothing 5 star about it. Layout is confusing, lots of paths & doors & lifts to get to where you want to go. Rooms are dated, dirty/stained furniture, doors have been painted and now cant be opened, lighting in rooms is poor, mini bar not stocked - ask Staff why no mini bar - response " all we leave is one UHT milk- no stock the Mini Bar ever", no fan in the bathroom, limited hanging space in robes, old timber shutter type doors everywhere with 70's spring catches, toilet location in bathroom has no privacy, supplied toiletries and soap poor quality, Poolside Cabana's not included in tariff, you have to hire them ($85 per day), No dedicated adults only area or pool, Wait time for a drink or food minimum 30 mins. Check in was average, seems they just want cc details, no telling you whats going on, where, how, who. What they don't tell you - Not enough hospitality workers currently in PD due to COVID, good luck getting a table for dinner at a restaurant in town they are fully booked due to staff shortages in some instances a month in advance, or only open reduced hrs, Shuttle bus to town $11 per person return (not included) you can get a discounted pass (recommend) you can walk to town along the beach or the dedicated path which takes about 20 mins (not 1 hour as advised by staff) Cafeteria style food options, Coffee at pool bar - DON'T!, gardens are beautiful and the team does a good job.
