A great place to stay and unwind. it is out on a point so is a bit of a walk to other parts of Townsville but on the other hand that makes it very secluded. The grounds are spacious and newly laid out. There are a number of food options but it is fairly pricey. The one thing it lacks is an affordable breakfast venue. At $35 a head the breakfast buffet is too expensive for a family day after day.

Amazing views to Magnetic Island, pool area with swim up bar and restaurant/food options. You really don’t have to leave the accommodation to have a great relaxing holiday. This is the only place our family of four like to stay whilst in Townsville.

Staff need to be trained in customer service delivery Splash bar only 2 staff and waited over 25 mins for drinks on 4 occasions, not a smile or greeting at any point The pavilion staff more interested in chatting to each other than serving You may have spent millions on your upgrade and it's fantastic , but need now to employ staff that realise it's their job to deliver service not our plivage to have them serving us.

All it took was 20 mins to go from a guest to a public visitor at the hotel. After checking out and waiting for transportation at the hotel we were denied entry to the grounds easily accessible on the waterfront. Clearly management doesn't understand the full concept of customer service as after you check out then it's "get lost"!
