Great location with a short walk to the beach. I like the unique layout with apartments that have a private jetty to access the lagoon style pool at the centre of the resort. The Plantation restaurant was amazing, highly recommend.

My room was a swim up room and was cleaned to a good standard. The location was good and close to both the shopping strips as well as 1770. The pool was clean however requires some maintenance, for e.g the pool surface on the bottom needs to be redone, however kids didn’t mind and spent fun utilising it. My biggest complaint was the noise level I experienced from my room. When ever an entry door was opened or closed the sound would reverberate through my room, voices could be clearly and loudly heard from passage ways as well as neighbouring units when sitting outside.

Where do I begin? Let's start with the pros, as there are very FEW. Pros: - View from balcony was nice and quiet, looking onto trees - Hot tub on balcony was good - Can walk to beach and hear waves from room Cons: - Older female receptionist with glasses was immediately unwelcoming, trying to make us feel indebted to her for not cancelling our stay when our card on file bounced (we received an email that 4 hours prior that we had 24 hours to update, which we were trying to do on site) - Lift was broken, so had to search for our room whilst carrying luggage, whilst given completely wrong instructions and map of where our room was by rude receptionist - Room was smaller than expected - "King Bed" were two single beds zipped together with the world's most uncomfortable mattresses you will ever feel - the zip protrudes under a thin mattress protector and stabs you in the back - Shower was so bizarre, it has two drains that don't drain and leaked all over the bathroom - Shower head had zero pressure and water drizzled out - Tiles were worn and chipped - Disturbing smell in dimly lit underground car park and stairwells - Toilet would make a long, loud screeching noise throughout day and night for no reason - Spare blanket it cupboard smelt foul and was extremely dusty - Seems odd that a "fully equipped kitchenette" has no salt and pepper, made for a really flavourless breakfast - Main pool looked so dirty and slimy - Stains on walls, slippery, chipped tiles throughout

Property seemed a little dated and could use a spruce up. The drain in the shower was next to useless and left a huge amount of water all over the floor which was a little dangerous. Pool area is very good and so is the restaurant. The staff are very friendly and welcoming.
