The resort location was great, good amenities, however the smell is rancid. From the moment we stepped into the stairwell we were hit with an overwhelming stench of mildew, we thought maybe its just the stairwell not been taken care of (this was evidenced by tbe dead cockroach that was on a step the entire 4 days we were there), however, it got worse once we opened the door to our "superior" apartment we were again hit with a horid stench of what I can only describe as like cat pee and mold. We aired it out and left the windows and doors open all day and night to help. It felt dirty from the second we walked in thanks to tbe odour. The batbrooms also felt very outdated and unclean. The showers had alot of stains and rust, the soap holder in the ensuite was broken and barely held up 1 small travel shampoo, the fan didn't work and the towel rail looked rusted and dirty. The beds were ok and there was everything you needed there, we could not get past the smell enought to actually eat there so spent as much time out of the room as possible. Pools were good, restaurant was nice, however, we pre ordered food for 7.30 and went down for a couple of drinks at 6.30 and thought we may as well pay for dinner then, we were told it was already ready if we wanted it, so it would have just sat there for an hour going cold had we not decided to go down early. The order was also incorrect, ordered a margarita pizza and got Hawaiian. I would not stay again.

The front staff were very very rude, had a family member in tears. Hot water service ran out. Crockroches everywhere. Blackets were terrible. Public toilets were filthy. Smelt like pee. Would not recommend.

All in all, it was good. Loud at times, but expected during the busy period. One of pools wasn’t available on one of the days we were there, which was a shame because it was my son’s favourite water slide after the splash pad. Everything was clean which was good. The rooms are slightly outdated, but it had everything we needed for the time we stayed. Parking was a challenge with a taller vehicle, but we mostly worked it out. There’s a lot of road works outside the resort, so keep that in mind if you’re staying here. Thanks for the great time and great memories 😊

We spent a nice week at Turtle Beach Resort. Overall, the experience was ok. However, I have a few comments to mention: - Swimming pools are usually not very clean. I think they clean it every day, but the pool floors are not clean, and the pool water has many bugs and insects. - My booking says daily room service and cleaning. However, they did it only once on check-in. When I called them, they mentioned that they charge extra for room service. - Even for simple things (like rubbish bags, towels, etc.), they asked us to purchase those ourselves as they won't provide them.

Stayed in the 3 bedroom apartment, room was dated but clean and all we needed for our stay. Staff were friendly. Kids loved the different selection of activities from the pools and slides to the tennis/basketball courts to the mini putt. We really enjoyed our stay!!

Fantastic family holiday spot with lots of pool options and great restaurant on site. Super close to a supermarket and great facilities in the family suites. Highly recommend for a family stay.

Excellent stay. Great for families and kids. The room was very clean and had great amenities. (Would’ve been great to have a coffee machine). Several pools and lots to do for the kids. Walking distance to the beach. The current light rail works was a bit annoying for getting in and out of the resort, but we didn’t hear any works from our room. Will be great once that is operating as it will be easy to get around Golf Coast.
