Great pool with bar area, easy parking, location to casino, beach and everything you could want. Only downside was the big stain on the bottom sheet of the bed that I found when I went to hop into bed which was after midnight, so had to put something over it so I could still sleep in the bed as I wasn't sure what it was! I told reception upon checkout and showed her a photo I took of the stain so she understood what I was saying. Clearly house keeping didn't care when making up the room because you couldn't miss it! the patch was size of a dinner plate! The receptionist kind of didn't say much apologised and said she wouldn't charge me for the parking due to my inconvenience and as a goodwill gesture. But said nothing more. Then I realise afterwards she still charged me for the parking lol

The room I stayed in was lovely and spacious - it was great having a balcony. It was clean on arrival but housekeeping only cleaned my room once over my three day trip. Outside the hotel there were always really loud groups of people. Some of the staff were friendly, but some were very short and rude for no reason. Downfall was off-site parking which was expensive.

The hotel felt generally unkept, windows and the glass everywhere had a grotty feel to it, bathroom door fell off, light in the bathroom didn’t work, letters missing off signage and some not all staff showed body language like they’d prefer to be somewhere else. Should be a 3 star hotel.

Shower recess level in room 11218 tiled incorrectly so water over flowed out of show instead of down shower drain thus making it slippery on bathroom floor as bath mats were not sufficient in size to adequately cover the area Also curtains need to have a pelmet along the top to stop light coming in horizontal and at either end against the walls there is a slither of a gap that reflects light so not good for sleeping in or recovering during the day from jet lag Kettle dripped when pouring And ironing board slippery to iron on and wobbly Better mudmap provided for parking with floor/door entry points from car park

The hotel is excellent, staff were amazing. Only negative was no onsite parking. We opted to park at The Star, which is the best parking when staying at the Dorsett. Unfortunately, it was hard to find, and the signage to exit the carpark was very confusing. Not enough Exit signage.
