Annoyed that we were not made aware of the refurbishments until after we booked. Other than that all good. Rooms are excellant and location is also great. Great views of the hinter land but beach and ocean glimpses only from our room

Room had a dog smell when we arrived. Lots of dogs throughout the hotel as well. Booked an ocean view room to arrive and not be able to see the ocean at all due to being on the lowest floor. Staff were fantastic though. Checking out we had to wait 25 minutes before we could fit in a lift to leave. Also found it bizarre that the hotel dont offer a complimentary visit to the observation deck. Wasn’t expecting to pay $49 per person when we had spent so much to stay there already.

Buffet breaky up the top of the tower was good value because of the view. The food for breaky was good but not great. Mushrooms were under cooked , as was some of the bacon. Otherwise selection was quite good. Toilet seat in our room (506) was wrong size.....terrible. Room was spacious and very comfortable. Lifts were a problem.....had to wait far too long.
