Night manager John , was rude nasty , horrible , I checked in 200pm shower , snooze 1030 go have beer , used my issued key card , doors open , John instructed security to make sure I didn’t enter premises, rudely, at volume 5 times accused me , basic theft of card to open door , no checks , no facts , spent next 1hour , with all his theatre, humiliation, frustration, want drama on Gold Coast . I payed good money and was . John needs people skills , hiding like a. I’ll never stay there again

The pools and games room were the stand out as well as location. Room was dated and not ‘deluxe’ as per our booking… toilet struggled to flush and bath seemed to take ages for water to drain away

Fantastic location. Staff were very helpful and friendly. But so many issues. From the wrong name appearing on the tv to welcome some other guest (x2), hair in the shower on arrival, use of the wifi required a call to reception as the details given didn’t work, to there only being 1 chair at the table in the room (where is the 2nd person supposed to sit if you have meals in the room??), no housekeeping on day 2 despite us being out of the room for hours during the day. We let reception know the issues and they gave us 2 free drinks and late checkout of 2pm. Went to access my room at 1.55 but the card didn’t work, went down to reception they re coded it but it still didn’t work. Required the reception staff to come up with the master key to allow me to access my room and remove all my bags, just a huge hassles. To be honest I expected more.
