The hotel is located in the epi centre of Broadbeach. The hotel is appealingly decorated and the room was well appointed. Our view, although not an ocean view, was great. A disappointment was breakfast at the Harvest Buffet. For $44 per adult the range of food choices is disappointing. The food on offer was cold despite sitting under heat lamps and appeared to have sat there for a while. The coffee machine coffee was cold also. Very disappointing at such a hotel.

The Star Gold Coast delivers a vibrant and modern entertainment experience in the heart of Broadbeach. The casino floor is spacious, well organised and offers a wide range of table games and machines, catering to both regular players and casual visitors. The atmosphere is energetic without feeling overwhelming. A major highlight is the variety of restaurants and bars within the complex. Whether you’re after a casual meal or something more premium, there are options to suit different tastes, making it easy to enjoy a complete night out in one location. Facilities are clean and well maintained, and the hotel rooms are stylish and comfortable. Service throughout the venue was friendly and professional, with staff managing busy periods efficiently. Security presence added to the sense of safety without being intrusive. While prices for food and drinks are on the higher side and peak times can mean short waits, overall The Star Gold Coast offers a polished and enjoyable experience.

Booked a corner balcony deluxe room. Almost $500. Room was on level 6 overlooking and only two storeys above a massive colourbond roof, With an exhaust fan nearby running 24/7. It sounded like highway road noise. We paid extra for this room, Definitely not worth it. Room was very dusty. Dust on all lights/ lamps and paintings and on-top of the tv. One lamp flickering when it was on. Wallpaper pealing off walls. Not what you expect for an almost $500 room for one night. Also room service menu does not have even one gluten free option. Will never stay at this place again.
