Interconnected doors locked on arrival , tv stations non existent and for tourists no idea about local stations , ended up giving up on it no pay stations etc . no compendium to explain this . Little milks really in this day and age you can do better. Also for the price then charging me for Parking on top off my stay is very unreasonable for the current climate . I feel this does not encourage me to recommend staying here again . For our needs it was excellent somewhere to change and sleep , to stay for a holiday no not really to many hidden costs. Not to say this could not be improved and maybe something that could draw people to stay but yes it is a disappointment non the less. we had rooms 1805-1806 and can we also say the electrical tap edging was an interesting touch to repair arm rests and furniture is a bit tired also it is the little things that are noticed when you are there that make the difference.

The bed was great, views excellent. The bathroom was very small, not enough space to put your toiletries and needs updating. Good shower. Breakfast was delicious. There was no menu for foxtel and no info in the room regarding breakfast times or anything else

We stayed in a Hotel Deluxe Twin Ocean room on the 8th floor. We have stayed at other Mantra hotels at the Gold Coast before and have been happy with our accommodation. At Fables restaurant, the breakfast was excellent at $25 each. In the room, the beds were good and the air conditioning worked well. However, we were extremely disappointed in the fact that there was no carpark available after a 4 hour drive and we had to park at a parking centre and walk in the dark in pouring rain to the hotel. The concierge was rude and unsympathetic when my husband complained about the lack of parking. In the room there was a problem with the tv remote(you couldn't change channels) and we asked for it to be fixed, which they did. We also had a big wet patch of carpet in our room, which smelt mouldy, so had been wet for a while. We told them about this, but the maintenance man didn't come back and fix it, as he said he would, nor were we offered another room or anything else. The shower/bath had a push/pull button to change the water flow, but it made a big noise like shuddering and the shower head was a small cheap one, like a $20 shower rose from Bunnings. Worryingly, in one of the lifts, the card reader was duct taped onto the wall! I don't believe the 4 star rating is correct anymore. Overall, this was a disappointing older, run-down hotel and we won't be staying here again.

THE COMMON AREAS WERE NICE.COFFEE SHOP SEEMED TO SHUT TOO EARLY.LATE CHECKOUT SEEMED TO BE A PROBLEM.OUT BY 10AM.......MY PLANE DIDNT LEAVE UNTIL 6.30PM.SO A LONG Day.
