We loved everything about this hotel, the decor is fun, the hotel is clean and comfortable. It ticked all our boxes - 2 queen comfy beds in one room with fresh clean linen met our needs. The pool was inviting and the spa was set at the perfect temperature. We were on the 15th floor and had great views of the city, only downside balcony not accessible door were zip tied shut. It would have been lovely to have had access for fresh air. There’s a lot of construction in the area, the noise didn’t affect us as we were mostly out and about.Highly recommended.

I specifically booked there so we had a balcony/ocean view, and paid decent money to do so. We were told upon arrival that all balconies were locked due to maintenance. We got 2x standard drink vouchers for the inconvenience. I expect better from a hotel that’s meant to be quality.

Everything was great, the staff in particular were so helpful and friendly. I was there for a week and was always greeted with a smile. The facilities are clean and comfortable, and having the tram only a few minutes walk away was very handy indeed. The only minor 'grumble' was that the mini bar fridge was so well stocked, there was little room to add anything I bought elsewhere. I would happily return, no questions about it.

We love the QT chain of hotels and while this one isn't the best of them, we did enjoy it. We had a lovely view of the beach, the room was well set out and clean. My only gripe is the ridiculous things you get charged for, $6 for the room service tray? This is the first I have seen of it but I don't understand what exactly I'm paying for. Next they'll charge for the plates and utensils.

Dear [QT Hotel Management / Customer Service], I am writing to formally express my complete dissatisfaction with my recent stay at QT and to request a full refund. We travelled from Melbourne and specifically chose this hotel for its advertised balcony and view. Upon arrival, we were informed that the balcony doors could not be opened—this was not mentioned anywhere in the listing. I have a diagnosed lung condition and require access to fresh air. Had this restriction been disclosed in the advertisement, we would have opted for an Airbnb or another accommodation that allowed open windows or outdoor access. Furthermore, when we returned to the hotel late on Sunday night, we found a notice on our door stating that guests would not be allowed to exit the building between 7:30am and 9:30am due to planned works. This was clearly not a last-minute development and should have been disclosed at the time of booking. We had planned to sleep in before our flight, but were forced to leave the hotel earlier than necessary due to this significant and avoidable inconvenience. To make matters worse, we experienced food poisoning twice after consuming meals from your in-house restaurant, further ruining what was meant to be a relaxing stay. Given the misleading nature of the booking advertisement, the unacceptable disruption to our plans, and the serious health issues we encountered, I am requesting a full refund.

Beautiful property, exceptional service! A few minor issues with some of the bath towels old and ratty, the shower screen coming off at the base. No soap for the bath. But overall an awesome stay in an awesome room. Room service was exceptional as were the front desk staff.
