This property is not pet friendly. No restrictions on pets are specified at booking. After booking we received an attachment in an email that states āPets are welcome but under no circumstances are they to be left inside the flat without you being with themā. There is also no fencing around the property. Helen told us to leave our dog in the car while we went out. Then she asked us to leave at 9.15pm on the day of our arrival and find somewhere else to stay.

Thank you for booking with us at Farmhouse Flat Pet Friendly and taking the time to write a review. Our accommodation is clearly explained on the booking sites, that we have rural fencing and do not permit pets to be left in the flat for hours without supervision. In this case, it was for a dog to be left in the flat from 4pm- 10.30pm, for the owners to attend a wedding. Its a good idea to read all the details on the booking site, and the information you receive by email from the accommodation and then, if necessary, if something has been misunderstood, a cancellation can be arranged. A full refund was offered to the guests. Assistance was also offered to find the kind of accommodation the guests wanted and if necessary personally mind the dog while they were at the wedding. The details of the house rules were sent to the guests two months before the booking date. Always wise to read the information about the accommodation.
