I loved the simple, clean rooms. Sharing bathrooms was fine but, there was nowhere to put you stuff when having a shower, only hooks, no shelf for toiletry bags, room key card or phone. Also shoes get wet when in the shower. A shower cabin would be good. Other than that I absolutely loved staying here and I’m sure I will be back.

Nice room that sadly needed maintenance and TLC, bathroom door hanging almost off, window that didn’t latch and therefore rattled all night, bedside lamp didn’t work

We liked the room and the views the grounds were lovely and very inviting. Family friendly and a great place to stay. The are a lot of stairs though so you need to be fit/able bodied to get upstairs, both to the entrance/Reception and upper levels.

Liked - - the friendliness & helpfulness of the staff- -the quiet location and access to public transport -casual eating arrangements and access to the garden One dislike - the shared bathroom arrangement

It was close to the ferry, it was affordable and the triumph of your place were the sumptuous breakfast in pleasant surroundings with resident bird thieves. Try and keep these factors for as long as possible.
