Check in was easy but immediately when I walked in I got bombarded with a smell of mildew. Realized it's because they sealed the windows shut so there's no way of getting fresh air in the room. One of the lights was broken. The whole hotel was hot and humid, there wasnt any aircon or fan to solve this issue. The bathroom door was difficult to close, being an old sliding door. Room was neat and tidy, no stains were visable anywhere. Likely won't come back, but was good enough as a last minute stay. If I do stay here again, I doubt I'll book through wotif since i found the same room at half the price on a different website after I had already paid.

Like - it had a vacancy for U2 concert Dislike - where to begin... 1. Refused checkin to my friends who were staying in the hotel as part of a present - they were attending U2 concert. 2. They were charged $95 to park in closest car park, and when they returned to car park after concert they weren't allowed to access car where all there things were.

During my stay towels were replaced but bed was not made or room cleaned - I think they forgot.

It is an old property and whilst it was clean, parts had built up mold like the bathroom

The telephone was not connected the wall, so when I couldn’t find a tv remote I had to get dressed and go down but they didn’t have one anyway. No iron or ironing board in the room Very basic room in a noisy area

I liked the covenience to local shops. The staff was helpful and courteous. What I didnt like was the bed was very low (comfortable but low) and the TV was on a ridiculous angle for watching (Room 202) and the kettle cord was so short I had to plug it in to the floor socket which was right next to the bed. There was a definite dampness smell in the room .
