Overall the property is beautiful. It’s right on top of a hill so you can look down and see the beautiful views of the island. The room was extremely large with a beautiful balcony. The staff were very friendly and helpful. But the hotel shuts down after a certain time. The bar closes at 9( and the food is very good). The pool closes at 12( which is really good). The lobby and housekeeping closes at 11 I believe. So no food, towels, beverages… nothing after 11 and if you don’t rent a car there is nothing in walking distance. We had to buy something from the vending machine which is so expensive. Just 2 sodas cost $6. Beautiful hotel beautiful views overall

The views of the island were beautiful. The room itself was spacious and clean. The area surrounding the hotel were sketchy. Its a steep drive to reach the hotel being its placed high up in the hills. But all in all of the 3 different hotels i stayed on my trip the hilltop villas was the best of the 3.

The views were amazing. We were able to watch the cruise ships in port as well as downtown. Our villa was large and clean. The towel exchange was very easy. There were a lot of steps, which we knew about before, but if mobility is an issue, it could be difficult to navigate. The restaurant on site needs much better signage as their hours of operation could be confusing. The bar/restaurant area was understaffed most of the week we were there. The servers who were there worked very hard and were very good. It was off-putting, especially when we’re weren’t sure where to sit for the meals. The food was very good. The pool and sundeck area was great. Plenty of chairs and a nice shade area. The pool was clean, but it was only 3.5 ft deep. So, if you’re looking for more than wading, it will be a disappointment. The hot tub is small, but adequate. We had a great week and would stay again if we returned to St Thomas. Please add a water filling station…it was hot and we had to bother the bartenders for water. We both felt the front deck staff was not very friendly or welcoming. When we checked out, we didn’t even receive a THANK YOU. However, one clerk gave us a bottle of water because the store did not have any in stock. The store was marginal at best. The staff working the front entrance (bellmen?) were EXCELLENT they were always friendly and helpful. Taxi’s were plentiful and timely. We had a great week. Thank you.

The unit could have been cleaner. The overall appearance was a bit dirty. Baseboards needed cleaning and there was urine around the base of the toilet. The front desk attendant was also very rude to my husband when he asked a question.

We had a flood in our kitchen one night from a clogged drain outside, and we were on the bottom floor, and they didn't even come to clean it up, we had to, nor did they offer to move us. Also, the staff was not very friendly. We would never stay here again.
