On my check in staff service was awful got a room go up and when we get there they was working in it on its carpet. Go back down the front desk gave me another room on the 3rd floor walk in its heated smelling like mold and one of the bed filled with black spots of dust I called the housekeeper that was working on the floor she came in saw it and said i didnt to this room so call front desk, like why would you say that. Didn't apologize and worked out. Worst service and staff members.

This hotel should be condemned !!! STAY AWAY. It wreaks of MOLD MOLD MOLD !!!! And they do not care! Save yourself and stay somewhere else. The smell of mold is so strong it’s so unhealthy. I can only imagine the amount of mold hidden in the carpet, ac, and walls. *** I WILL BE REPORTING THIS HOTEL TO THE BOARD OF HEALTH ****. Stay away !!!

The staff was not so helpful not rude but not helpful breakfast sucked the property is not what it looks like in photos rooms smell like mold and ac was nosy most of guests were workers from other states that were just spending the night place Is NOT 10 mints from St Augustine attractions it seems to be in a ghetto neighborhood I WILL NEVER STAY THERE AGAIN!!!!

Needs work!

The picture makes it look fresh and modern. The lobby and dining are clean and contemporary, but the second floor smelled like mold and the first room they gave us was not habitable. When I tried to call the desk, the phone cord was actually broken. The next room was slightly better, with a smoky smell and a broken shower head (1/2 trickle and 1/2 blast) and the remote control for the TV had 1/2 the face peeled up. The staff was nice and working hard, but this location needs major renovations.

Our stay was very pleasant. The staff was kind and helpful. The breakfast was plentiful, my only suggestion for the breakfast is to not have so much water in the sausage patties- otherwise fantastic! The only other concern I had was the pool area, there was glass by the gate entrance, seeping more often could rectify this. Overall our stay was pretty great!! Thank you .

My family and I were passing through St. Augustine and picked this hotel for one night. Upon arrival when we got into the elevator there was a liquid that we believed to be dog pee on the floor. We get to our room it reeks of wet dog and is full of fleas. I went to the front desk to see about another room, which they offered one a few rooms down from the flea room, but at this point we were all grossed out and couldn’t stay there. I am currently fighting to get my refund back which the manager refuses to allow Expedia to authorize due to the fact she says the hotel is “pet friendly.” Stay away. I will be contacting the health department and corporate if not resolved in the next day or so.

The room they put us in smelt like pee and the carpet felt disgusting!! We couldn’t walk without shoes on and I had to put towels on the floor for my kids to sit if they wanted to sit on the floor. The shower leaked bad, there was rust around the tub, there was very obvious marks on the wall that was patched horribly. What really mad us man was that they charged us $200 more because we are local. It’s ridiculous. No room service. If you need towels, shampoos or conditioners or anything you have to go to the front desk to get it and you have to take the trash to the dumpster yourself every day and they didn’t have any trash bags in the room either…then one of the ladies at the front desk was rude and couldn’t even look at me when she was talking to me like she could be bothered. Rude! Was not a good 2 nights.

This is a Pet friendly hotel, but you don't expect that as soon as you walk into a "clean" room, you can't walk in anymore because of the smell. They should keep some rooms "no pets" for the travelers that could be sensitive. I have 3 myself but the smell was intolerable. They offered to refresh the second room they gave me for it smelled like damp animal as well. That entailed bombing the room with febreze spray. It was the last room they had available apparently. We drove all day and needed sleep... But was a miserable night and the bed mattresses are hard and noisy too. Just know, LA Quinta are usually much better but this particular one is Not!
