on the more expensive end, ghe room itself was tiny and in need of a fresh lick of paint. however the room was otherwise clean, a litfle dusty in olaces but the bed, bed dressing etc were spotless...abd that mattered a lot. batroom was also clean. staff were approachable, 10/10 for customer service. there were refurbishment works going on in the diner when i checked in at 2pm and staff told me about that. noise was as can be expected of such work but nothing too disruptive...and by 3pm it had all been wraped up. a pleasant night thst was comfortable. in room wifi was hit and miss on my phone. one end of tue tiny room had great wifi sigbal, the other had none. my laptop however was able to hold the signal. wifi was free as was parking... this is why i booked at this hotel. as a bonus, there is secure gated parking in addition to the off road parking. the gated parking gets locked at 11pm. and reopened at 6am. i value this added security and would recommend this to anyone who needs it. id recommend this hotel for anyone needing a place for the night. i didnt have the chance fo try the food at the diner but hope to do so at a futire visit.

Arrived at 21.40, bar closed at 22.00. room cold despite radiator being on max, bathroom unbearably hot! As with other budget hotels why are the tops of the curtains always covered in dust?
