This a fine place for a night or two. Room was clean and bed was pretty comfortable (but not the pillows). It’s in a good location as well. There is a nice balcony and nice tiled floors everywhere but it’s a little impersonal. There’s no lobby, or visible staff. It’s like an Airbnb hotel basically.

No staff to monitor guests or property. Room was very small and cramped. Kitchen was filthy with rusted knives, smelled like animals. Could not sleep at all because of yelling and partying the whole night. There was no one to monitor the curfew. Did not feel safe inside the property, although the area around was decent.

This property is perfect! It was so close to everything including beaches, La Placita, restaurants, and nightlife while being on a quiet one-way street away from the loud avenue. The room was very clean with fresh towels, extra blankets, and sheets. The air conditioner worked very well and it was easy to adjust. The property managers were very responsive and helpful with super easy instructions. I felt safe on the property and would definitely stay there again. I also rented a car and had no issue finding parking on the street.

Apt cabinet handles and hinges in kitchen were rusted. Stove cover had some rust. Fridge on outside had stains. Bed Room had stain on wall. Apt had small amount of ants and mosquitoes so I kept the ac running no issue after that. Bottom couch leg had rust. Bath RM sink water ran slow at times. Over all Apt was clean but presentation could have been much better. Some times parking wasn't so easy around the building.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! I repeat, DO NOT STAY HERE !! You’ll be sorry! There was no hot water, guys were hopping over the fence, everything was duct taped together? The washer machine and dryer were rusty, drain pipes not connected so when it rained it was so loud! The cleaning lady and the maintenance guy had a very loud conversation at 8am on Saturday outside my room for an hour in the morning which woke me? The toilet didn’t flush and the bathroom sink clogged every time I used it?I had booked for 5 days , but only stayed 2, and was told that I would receive a refund for the days that were not used, but when it came down to it, they refused a refund? There’s way too many hotels and places to stay instead of throwing way your money and ruining your vacation!! You’ll be sorry if you stay here!!!

Tough to sleep

Our stay was disappointing for several reasons: 1. Parking on the street was not good. There aren’t enough spots in front of Placid Suites for all the rooms, so we had to park several blocks away. Trying to navigate narrow sidewalks along a busy street in the dark felt unsafe 2. Placid Suites is in a loud part of town, and the partying went on all night long. We couldn’t tell if the loud laughter was from other hotel guests, or just people on the street below. Also we heard loud engines and blaring music into the wee hours of the morning. The walls/windows/door did nothing to keep out the sounds. Also, a street lamp shone through thru the thin curtain over the door. A room darkening shade would have been nice.
