The Sanctuary at Rockport

The Sanctuary at Rockport is a haven for nature lovers, bird hunters, swimmers and runners. The property is a three acre estate located around the corner from the Lamar Boat Ramp, the Whooping Crane Nesting Area, the Big Tree and Goose Island State Park. Live bait, ice and gas within 5 minutes. A Private Sanctuary, the property features a lap swimming pool, gazebo with bar and outdoor dining, views over Silver Pond, and a house with a large living dining area, kitchen, two bedrooms and two baths that sleeps 7 guests in beds. Host your private event, family or corporate retreat, or have a tranquil weekend escape. View Egrets and other wild animals and birds from the privacy of the property's large patio and gazebo. Run the 3 mile St. Charles Bay trail then Swim laps in the screened in 40 foot lap pool. Rockport's fine restaurants and attractions are close by.
For Events or Parties of ten or more, such as Weddings, Family Reunions and other Events, guests will pay a $500 Event Fee per day and sign a separate contract with the Host for payment and release of liability. Contract will be sent through VRBO or private email. The Event Fee is in addition to the nightly stay fee.

Pictures don’t do it justice!
The property was wonderful. Watching the wildlife in the pond and in the yard brings stress levels down immediately. The house was roomy and had everything we needed. Loved the pride of Barbados plants in bloom. Thank you for sharing this wonderful spot.

Weekend in Serenity
The property is beautiful, tranquil, quiet and away from all hustle and bustle. Perfect spot to meditate, listen to and watch nature. Charlotte, the host, is amazing! The pool was cool and refreshing. The pond was like glass in the early morning. House is beautiful and has scenic views from every angle. Kitchen is amazing! Bathrooms and bedrooms are beautiful and no expense spared with linens and beds are comfortable. We loved the fire pit and gazebo! Thank you for an amazing weekend!!

Great stay!
This house is beautiful! We enjoyed everything about it. It is so tranquil and peaceful. The views from the windows were so beautiful. Our favorite area to spend the time was the lap pool. It was perfect in this Texas heat. And the host was so kind and always in contact with us if we needed her. We hope to book this house again soon.

Hidden Gem
This is an absolutely beautiful property! Located off the main road and nestled among live oaks, this property is a welcome retreat from city life. Charlotte is a wonderful host. She provided helpful information up front and stayed in contact with us during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed. If you enjoy wildlife, such as deer, hawks, owls, cranes and egrets, this is the place to stay. My family and I are already planning a trip back.
