Utilitarian apartment convenient Old Town location

Utilitarian apartment on 3 floors in central Old Town location. Kitchenette, small bath and sofa bed on ground floor, bedrooms on floors 1 and 2. Nonstandard stairs from Ground to 1st require great care to avoid slip and fall. Narrow spiral stairs to 2nd and small terrace. AC only on 2nd, and is underpowered. Be advised you must schlep your luggage from the city gate uphill to the apartment. No taxis allowed inside. Excellent service from the manager, who helped us move luggage after checkout and stored it at another co-managed apartment house.

Good Value House in centre of Walled City

Very well situated for old town Rhodes, a 15 minute walk from St Athanasios Gate, where you can find free parking (out of season you can) before accessing the house within the pedestrian only (for tourists) walled city. The house has two treacherous staircases, so be aware before booking if any of your party are older / infirm, but everything else is very good and good value - the roof terrace a good space, the two double beds comfy, the fridge works and the basic ground floor bathroom with shower has hot water and serves its purpose.

The guest house is in a very good location and the staff is very nice. The rooms were decent but one day we came back after a rain and there were numberous bugs inside and we had to leave in the middle of the night and go to a new hotel. Expedia refused to let us cancel and rebook a new hotel so we had to pay for 2 hotels at once. Very disappointing as I am (was) a frequent customer and previously their customer service had been helpful to me.
