This was the worst Hampton Inn. It’s rundown, poorly managed and a shame to the Hilton brand. Not a place I’d choose again after having had to stay there. First room had no air. Second room no towels or toilet paper. It just went from bad to worse. The staff had a party in the parking lot late in the evening and we didn’t feel safe asking for anything else. Do not stay here. There are other options in Cañon City. We were wrong to trust a name brand hotel.
Couldn’t get the air to turn on and had a staff member tell me how to take the panel off and try to reset it. Never would work. An hour later we were moved across the hall to another room that had air. Nothing else though.

Not great. I don’t remember it being this bad. We had 1 towel, no toilet paper, no toiletries, the pillows were little square pillows. The blankets were dirty. Was not a great experience should have stayed at holiday inn. Do not recommend this hotel.

My hotel room was dirty, I do not think the bed linens were changed before we got there. There was papers and things in the bed when we pulled back the covers. There was a hole in the wall. And all of the surfaces had crumbs or a lot of fingerprints, so it was not cleaned. In addition, there were no towels in the room.

Could be much better.

Hotel is extremely understaffed and under maintained. The guest washing machine caught on fire, which set off the smoke alarms. Resulting in sitting outside for a considerable amount of time. The hot tub is being “repaired”. The front desk lady was very kind and was very apologetic for being short staffed. I could hear her frustration in her voice. I felt bad for her because I am sure she has been the receiver of other peoples complaints. She handled the smoke alarm situation very well.

The hotel was heavily understaffed. A family member of ours booked a room late on Expedia because a snowstorm closed the roads, and we had no choice but to get a hotel. The hotel didn't have the staff to clean the rooms. So there was no clean room for our family to stay, despite having booked a room. They had to go find accommodations elsewhere. The front desk was quite rude when explaining the situation of no clean rooms. From the sounds of it, the general manager might be the main issue. Not the rude front desk employee. She's only the messenger

Are there employees working here?

Our stay was memorable but not in a good way. I checked in and got the cards to get in the room. Went up to the second floor and the keys didn’t work. Went back down and let them know. The lady was very nice and very helpful. I went back up and the keys still didn’t work. I went back down and she gave me a master room card and we were able to get in our room. Awhile later, I thought I heard the door click. A few minutes later, the employee ran the key card and opened the door while we were in the room. We slept with the chair in front of the door. This hotel has a pool but it was FREEZING and not maintained. The hot tub was green and out of order. Continental breakfast was put out and we came about 8:30 and everything was empty and the area was a huge mess. The phone was ringing and there wasn’t anybody there to answer the phone. I cleaned up the kitchen area the best I could and we had cereal and a waffle. The waffle machine was also not maintained and cleaned. Positive note- the bed was very comfortable… the bottom sheets do not fit the mattress so they came off in the night. My child gave this a 1 out 5 rating.

When we checked in they did not tell us their pool was closed for our kids.. at 2 am the fire alarm went off.. at 3 am the fire alarm went off again.. so we did not get any sleep at all needless to say. in the morning we tried to take a shower.. and there was no water in the bathroom at all. we asked the front desk what was up they were rude and obviously didn't know or cared... did not offer any refund for any of it and i filed a complaint with hilton to get my money back. I don't blame the guy, he was doing all the check-ins, check-outs, prepaired and took down all the breakfast, was doing all the laundry and cleaning all the rooms.. by him self..

Ugh!!

Thiis is Hampton?? What.the hell happened to tjis property?? Must be franchise owned...verry old property very dated felt lije went back to 1988..lol..not clean poor staff cleaning i guess? Breakfast was a joke! And the towles and especially the sheets were dingy! Try some colrox in that wash!! Shower dirty tiles! Ugh! What happened ro the Hampton quality,? Wont ever stay at this one again in Canon City,CO
