Safe hands for overnight stop

Great for parking spaces, ideal location close to M55, M6 jnct. Large comfy bed, tea & coffee in room. But.... room needs a refurb, it resembled my sons Uni dorm. Lots cleaner though !! We spent a day atBarton Grange garden centre and Garstang village. Cafes, shops, pubs, walks by river countryside, sunshine, evening meal with wine ..great.

Girl on reception on arrival was casually dressed (no uniform) TV in room did not work, possibly needs new battery in remote. No anti slipmat in shower. Staff member did not ask about my stay when i returned key card. Comfortable bed, clean and was adequate for my requirements.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Carpet in the rooms needs to be changed. Surprised no drinking water was available in the room and no electrical socket beside the bed. Luckily reception had an extension lead that we could use for my husband's CPap machine

Paid next to nothing to stay here as convenient for an event. Room was clean, there was a T&Coffee station, the shower was hot, if I’m going to nit pick, the extraction wasn’t working in the bathroom, I would have preferred 2 pillows. Only other thing which wasn’t the hotels fault was other guests, one drunkard tried to get into our room, we were woken up at midnight by arguing drunks outside our room and then woken again at 3:00 because someone was getting chucked out of their room for smoking. I would stay again for the price we paid if we were attending the event again

Poor hotel but good pub next door

Poor hotel, but it is cheap and right next door is a pub that makes best ever chicken wings I've eaten, hence the reason I always stay at Ibis 😂
