Hi Marie, Thank you for your comment, We are sorry to hear that your stay at Moorings was ruined due to internet connection and the noise from the bar next door. We kindly informed that noise from the bar next door is out of Moorings control being licensed to the government as per the Bar Manager, so there is nothing we can do to that.With the basic facilities mentioned , Facilities we have are all mentioned on our website so should you expect anything that is not mentioned that is why it is not available ,again Moorings hotel is a 2.5* property. Dear Judy, Thank you for having taken the time to review your stay at Moorings Hotel. We are pleased to read that the staff and tours were to your satisfaction. You also booked this accommodation for its value for money, as we are incredibly priced for a waterfront property. Let's not leave that main part out. We are indeed superbly located, only 5-10mins walk to town and 15mins walk to the markets. The walk couldn't be any easier, with respect your assessment is wholly unfair now that the waterfront promenade has been entirely renovated with cement walkways from our property ALL the way to the market. If you face difficulties walking and the distance too long by your standards, which we can respect given certain circumstances, then Moorings cannot be held responsible. A closer, yet more expensive option, could have been selected. Correct, our accommodation is budget as is the hotel as a whole. Mind you, budget including air-conditioning, satellite TV, ensuite bathrooms, free public wifi, etc... Again, value for money. The upgrade you were offered, which you accepted, was to upgrade you to a better view. If you had no view to begin with, then that leads to believe you booked the cheapest room at the hotel: The standard room. Which is almost all hotels would not guarantee any view at all. One can't have it all when aiming for entry level budget. Let's be fair about it all. All of our rooms benefit from brand new wardrobes, especially custom made for our rooms. In fairness to their size, we offer an appropriate amount of storage space for holiday makers. Some bring more than others. We are sorry to hear the shower was difficult to regulate. That is a fair feedback which I would delighted to work on had we been given the room number also. I assume you mentioned this whilst on-site and we were able to address this inconvenience for you?
