Nice property, plenty of space for children

Pros: Plenty of room in our separate accomodation, which appeared to be a time share situation or something with several locked storage units
Cons: Cleanliness
Location: Nice and close to town , we were able to walk dinnner , with a play for the grandchildren at the lovely carrot playground on the way.
We stayed in a separate house which didn't really seem part of a " boutique hotel experience" , however it did provide plenty of space for our 3 grandchildren. Shower needed a good scrub and there were cobwebs everywhere. Whenever you walked over to the hotel you were met at the door by the owners barking dog and didn't feel as if you could enjoy the so called lounge area.

Very comfortable and relaxing

Pros: Warm and inviting. The room was perfect, from the bath to the carpets
Location: Just outside of Ohakune - quick trip in. Not too far to Whakapapa from here. Bike trails and walking tracks nearby
We stayed for one night and it was great. Warm welcome and then a warm and cosy room with excellent facilities. It was great to unwind after a cold day with a hot bath and then a wine looking out over the landscaped area outside. Quiet and peaceful.

Tranquility

Pros: Its homely warm inviting decor
Cons: Nothing
Due to a trip to Ohakune going drastically wrong, these hosts made our stay warm,welcoming with service above and beyond the call of duty.
