We paid less than £40 for a double room for one night. Check in was between 2pm-6pm, meaning we had plenty of time to explore Nottingham.
The staff member at reception was absolutely lovely - we had to fill a form out to ensure that they had the details of our car so that it wouldn't be clamped or ticketed.
Our room was on the second floor - there was a metal staircase leading upstairs that was a little noisy, but we couldn't hear people walking up it during the night.
The mattress was good quality, but a little too hard for me. The pillows were super soft, as were the covers.
The shower warmed up quickly, and the shampoo and bodywash provided were great. The towels were all very clean.
The room and bathroom were in good condition.
There is no TV or minifridge in the room (as it's more like a B&B rather than a hotel). There was a dining and living area downstairs where guests could watch TV.
The WiFi was great, so we were able to make do with watching stuff on our phone.
Would definitely recommend if you're looking at going somewhere in Nottingham like Rock City or the theatre.
