The place is in a decent location and we got and we got an upgrade in size room. Only because a guests clothing was in our room. The bed sheet had mould in if the first night and we were in the updated section. Very noisy traffic noisy at night also.

Stayed here for 6 nights back in November, perfect location but the rooms are outdated and old and smell, we had 2 kids our bed was good but the kids bed was a fold out lounge, the mattress was horrible with springs sticking through the mattress which was not very thick, ended up putting kids on the floor with the mattress, stay here if all you care about is location but if you want a good clean modern room stay elsewhere

The ONLY good thing about this hotel is it’s location. The service was minimal and unfriendly at best. The room was in need of a major upkeep, the air conditioner didn’t work so we had to keep the window open at night, and the shower, if that’s what you can call it, was disgraceful. Zero water pressure and the temperature went from no hot water AT ALL to scalding. There was cigarette smoke in the hallways, and the night time noise makes sleeping difficult. For those who like to watch tv be warned, the rooms only have CRT televisions with poor picture quality. Being directly opposite Madison Square Garden does not make up for the appalling condition of this hotel, especially considering it takes hours to check in, and every day there is a sea of unhappy people trying to sort out problems with their rooms.

Long wait (40 minutes) to book in, by apathetic staff. Room still dirty from previous guests, so we had to go back for a different room.

Great location for Union Station arrival and close to everything in midtown. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Good budget hotel.

Only good thing is location

Rudest hotel staff ever!!! Run down with plastic sheet on bed,no extra pillows or blankets. Staff avoid eye contact and the smallest request is a major hassle. Did NOT receive room booked!

Great location, accommodating staff

The rooms are definitely 2 star rated. Do not be enticed by 'free breakfast' or complimentary breakfast in your package - the 'breakfast' is absolutely disgusting. No toast, no fresh bread (cut up bread rolls from the restaurant the night before), No cereal - it is just cold cut meats and hard pastries. I ended up buying breakfast elsewhere.

Fair hotel in excellent location

Hotel staff were friendly and helpful. Corridors were terrible with very old dirty carpet. Room was clean but old and dated. Very basic.
