Issues from the start, I called 3 months in advance to make sure everything at the facility would be open such as pools, hot tubs, and outdoor bar by the pool. Upon arrival I was told that the hot tubs and bar were closed(who wants to go to the beach and not have a drink ocean side) the resort said it was not their fault those amenities were closed. Either way we paid for an early check in to find that neither AC unit in our room was working, one was faulted out and the other was leaking water profusely into the room. Staff seemed helpful at first but we quickly realized they did not care told us basically to deal with it until about 6-7 hours later once we had our group completely moved in they offered to switch our room. And then when we said we had completely unpacked for a week stay they said that it was our fault that we didn’t want to have to re pack and move. We stayed here two years ago and absolutely loved it but now it is a rundown property with terrible staff would not ever stay here again.

Almost every amenity that the property advertised was shut down without notice. The bar inside and out, hot tubs, coffee/smoothie bar all closed. The fire pits were never on and if you asked they would take 40 minutes. You couldn’t leave the property if you wanted your key card to keep working. That included the beach or parking lot learned that after day 5. Spent most of our time going up and down to be able to get in our room, to get towels, toilet paper and to get sheets that weren’t provided for one of the beds. The bed skirts and curtains had stains on them as well as some of the baseboards and walls were covered in dust and spillage. Some of the hangers that was provided was store hangers from clothes being bought. You couldn’t cook toast without the smoke alarm going off, and the other appliances had paint splatters on them. The employees were nice but uninformative of any of the issues that go on at the hotel. The hotel has potential just no work is done. The area itself was great with amazing food and lots of stuff to do. Wish we had more time to spend and to spend it at a better equip hotel.

Worst possible place ever!!!!

First off the picture on the app of the room that I booked and the room were were provided looked nothing alike! When we brought this up to the staff they acted as if they did not care.The first day we were there we were locked out of our room due to an issue with the door, the water pressure in the shower was practically non existent, the ac unit leaked everywhere making the balcony almost unusable, and the second day we were locked out of our room and the staff acted as if there was nothing they could be bothered to do so I could be let back into my room. It was the absolute worst experience ever and the staff sucks. We checked out early and went somewhere else

Room was a nice room bigger then Expected people at front desk very friendly and great but got to room floors sandy and no towels I had to desk ask towels four times finally got some two days later needed clean ones laid mine outside door they took them didn’t leave any I seen a boy doing housekeeping and a lady asked for towels they was super rude said wouldn’t give me any they didn’t have enough they had a whole cart full of them that is what gave me negative response

Great hotel!

Nice hotel for the price at the beach. Most hotels were almost double. The jacuzzis weren’t working, but I come to the beach for the beach. Nice indoor pool, outdoor pool, and lazy river. My teen girls loved them.

Not ONE out of the 3 Hot tubs were working our entire stay .not cool ! No pool / tiki bar . No breakfast . No restaurant . No game room . Nice gym . No supplies for any cooking in a full Kitchen room . Good coffee maker . Great views !! Staff very nice ! Cleaning lady tried to open the door at 9 am day of ck out - which is 11 am ! - if I didn't have top lock closed she would have walked right in ! - not cool . Did give late ck out - very nice . 3 elevators and very fast ! - that part was great ! Great parking , ocean access , grill area , and local attractions. Room had cold air upon arrival ! - big Plus for me! - overall probably not going to be our top pick for next visit but might with some upgrades !?

Sandcastle stay

Our stay was okay, we didn't pay a whole lot so I can't complain too much. But they call their cellphone resort, but it's so run down.It has a lot of potential.It just needs a lot of updating. We couldn't get towels so I washed my own that they gave me on the first day so my family could have towels. The pool I don't think was claimed one time while we were there. There were a lot of safety hazards that I noticed. A man fell into a empty hot tub and was injured. They later blocked it off.But it should have been blocked off inthe beginning. We had an awesome view. The staff was not very friendly. But that's okay , we ended up having a good day and the weather was all right. So overall as long as my grandson was happy so was I.

Hotel was disappointing, usually our hotel of choice. However; we will be staying somewhere else next time. One of the staff member said it was bought out so they are not fixing things when they break, restaurant and bars are closed. No entertainment at poolside. Pool and spas were closed but said we could use another hotel pool several blocks away. The smell of weed was overwhelming in hallways and on balcony. I can say, Staff were nice and accommodating as much as they could be.

We have stayed here several times in the past but this time it wasn’t as nice. Tiki bar is closed, hot tubs closed. It looks like part of the ceiling near the hot tubs has fallen in. Part of the charm of the hotel was they had the tiki bar where you could grab a drink and sit by the pool or walk the beach. Every time it rains the building seems to have a drainage system that lets the water off the building onto the 4th floor, so we had to constantly walk through puddles which caused the floor in the room to be wet. The beds are terribly uncomfortable we ended up buying an air mattress to sleep on. It’s not a terrible place to stay, it has a beautiful view, you could walk to all kinds of shops and food choices plus entertainment options. With a few improvements it absolutely could be one of the best places to stay. Btw it appears you can buy a room for around 100,000. They do have 2 pools, a lazy river, and a gym. Staff is friendly. It’s not a bad place to stay, it just needs a few improvements. It’s clean, rooms are spacious and they have everything you need to stay comfortable.

Parking spaces are very narrow, bed sheets appeared to have blood stains on them. TV is at most 24". None of the hot tubs were in working condition the whole stay. All around a below average experience

The rooms or hotel looks nothing like the photos online. The ceiling was falling in at places and our room keep messed up 8 times in the couple days we were there. Ocean view was great . Only issue is when sitting on the balcony you would get wet from the upper floors ac.

Check in went smoothly. When we got to our room the floor was completely wet with condensation. We did wipe that up with some towels no big issue. Continued onto the balcony where there was at least a foot long and a foot wide of green slime just nasty, and also a tank top laying across one of the chairs. If that wasn’t enough of a sign the room had not been cleaned I get the coffee pot to prepare for the next morning since we had checked in late and there is coffee in the pot that had started to mold!!! Well they have no other vacant rooms so we are very tired from our drive so we sleep in there for the night. During the night our fire alarm in the room starts beeping ( like maybe the batteries are going dead) I try calling the front desk several times NO answer!! I go to the front desk the maintenance person has gone for the night. So I tell them they have to do something so they send a young guy to the room with batteries he has no clue where the batteries even go. The guy just takes the smoke detector with him. Next morning I go to the front desk explain everything and I am told our room will be cleaned that day and we would have a smoke detector . Come back to our room that evening.. NO cleaning has been done and no smoke/fire detector. Next day they cleaned but no fire alarm the whole stay. Most electric plugs didn’t work. Terrible place!!
