We are still waiting for a return ph call from night we checked in on 10/03/20. The small, dirty apmt room we were placed in at Empire Bldg, 81 A'Beckett St, Melb nothing like the expected standard of Exec Rm @ Australia 108 Bldg, 70 Southbank Blvd, Melb booked & paid for 6 mths ago on Wotif. The bldg we were placed in was 15 blocks further away from the bldg booked & from the event we were attending with other friends. We made several ph calls prior to our arrival to confirm the relocated accom would be the same or better standard than we had booked, given the inconvenience of the further distance. We were assured it would be of the same standard with the same amenities. We believe the email we received on 04/03/20 advising our booked rm was not going to be available due to a plumbing issue was an outright lie. We were placed in a very small 2 bdrm aprmt with ONE bthrm (not 2), 2 dble beds (not 2 Queen), no blankets, no extra pillows, no coat hangers, no instructions on use of dishwasher, washing machine or dryer, lock on main door to apartment unlocked every time the door was closed, 1 roll toilet paper for 3 ple for 1 wk. Stains on carpets, floors & every wall, dirt behind beds & furniture, food scraps & rubbish under lounge cushions, no broom, dustpan or brush to sweep/clean, no plug in the kitchen sink, broken vanity tap. All windows very dirty & some didn't close tightly-wind whistled through most nts. On 2nd day fire in basement - bldg wreaked of smoke so we left!

The location was great and view fantastic but it all goes wrong from there. The key had to be collected a block and a half away from a letter box in another building. Even though there were letter boxes on site. After double parking and collecting key, drove to building to park car but couldn't get into car park even though we had booked a bay and payed fee. After several unanswered calls someone called back to say they had put the remote for the car park into the wrong letter box with someone else's key. Had to park car In a Wilson park (and pay a fee)walk back to other building to get the remote. Then back to retrieve car and move car to building car park. An exercise that took nearly an hour and made us very late for a dinner date. When I said that I should be refunded the cost of parking for all the hassle I was met with silence. We stayed in room number 6307

The check-in instructions was like an escape room. Didn’t receive access details until after checkin time and had to ring/email numerous times to later discover we had to go elsewhere to collect keys. No fun traipsing around melbourne with bags and kids! Dirty tissues, shaving hair found in the bathroom. No wifi password instructions left. Building work outside room from 7am saturday morning. Location was good and nice apartment (if care was taken to clean it & manage it properly it would be great) I guess that’s why it was a good price though. If I needed a bed to stay in for a cheap night in melbourne and now knowing the checkin process I’d consider staying again

The apartment as a whole was lovely. The views were incredible. We loved the pool & gym, however no communication was given about a gym induction being required. The carpets were very stained and the dishwashing sponge & brush hadn’t been changed and were dirty. Same as some of the cooking utensils. The laundry sink was very dirty too. The bedding, bathrooms & kitchen as a whole were clean and tidy and really nice. TV was hard to work and couldn’t link our Netflix account due to the remote not letting us use the search button. Having only 1 key/card/remote made it difficult for half of us wanting to stay in and half going out. Made it a bit tricky. Overall was a lovely stay! :)

Terrible communication with property management. Extremely difficult to contact making check in a nightmare. Two bed apartment is very small and tight spaces throughout. Would not stay there again.

It was close to Southbank but to obtain entry to the apartment was like the amazing race just to collect keys from a offsight lockbox to get into the place.. and limited parking.
