The Egyptian Dream retreat was terrific. As soon as i have arrived the area that is situated is great. The amvuence was superb. Dalila is a great hists, she has asked me if i want it to get a massage, and i have really jump, it was a good idea, i have been working very hard so i was happy to get a massage. Well, what can i say it was superb, very professional. My breakfast was delicious and very well presented. Dalila make sure that her visitors enjoy their time at the Egyptian Dream Retreat, she realky looks after ger vusitirs. I will reccomend to anyone to vome and spend time here. I give her 9 out of 9 Ciao Gabriella

It should be advised as a B&B

Although well presented and themed, the accommodation was more of a residential B&B than a retreat as it was advertised on the website. The massage services were conducted in a separate room to the ‘suite’ and, while quite enjoyable and relaxing, they ran longer than described, delaying possible plans to explore the local town. And any chance of dinner - only 1 Food place open at 8:30pm - She tried her best to deliver- just not what we thought - by advisment - she was a very lovely lady

Hi. Thank you for your review. We are sorry you did not receive what you expected but we have advertised exactly what we are, a fully registered business Retreat & B&B, we provide massages but also many other forms of treatments, we do have a large well equipped far infra red sauna & spas areas. We are not commercial and provide unique treatments & relaxation for individual needs & couples. We informed you that your massage & healing time would take longer as you presented much more than was expected & this was okay with you, it is is my professional duty not to end the treatment until healing is completed & safe for you to return back to your life. You informed us you would be dining in your room not outside restaurant. Maybe you should have booked at another local retreat stayed in a cabin & paid double the price & no views. Cheers.

Hi. Thank you for your nice review. We are glad you enjoyed your stay & that this place is querky & lovely & Dalila did all for you. Sorry to know your internet was not great but it does depend on which provider & which side of room you are, ours is perfect. We have continuous solar & gas hot water so we are unsure why your 2nd shower was cold. We hope to see you again & thank you for being lovely and respectful. Cheers

Room in a house.....overpriced

Pros: Maleny
Cons: Should not be advertised on Wotif....
Location: Maleny beautiful little town
When we made the booking check in time was from 2pm.Saturday on our way to the facilities we received a txt requesting us to check in after 3pm!!!!! On arrival(no front desk.....incorrect on website....she met us outside the house). Then she goes on to tell us that the delayed check in wasn't meant for us( thank you after we arrived at 3pm. The room is a room Under her house.....in surburbia. The spa overlooks the hills of Maleny(so the website states) sure it looks onto the driveway and the onto the houses and then onto the hills of Maleny.....She went onto tell us the other guests had issues with their room(don't discuss other guests with other guests). The host has no concept of time manegement...Insisted on writing down our drivers licence &credit card details down....WHY??!! O According to the wot if site this is a retreat BUT nothing but a room in someone's house. That way overpriced and incorrectly marketed giving customers false ideas...No front desk???! Breakfast was late and the milk in the fridge was not in unopened container. I would definitely not recommend these facilities to anyone.....not at all what is described in the Wotif site

Guest was very reluctant to provide her ID's & told us she never supplied these before to any accommodation places. A terrible smoke odour inside our retreat despite our policies being. "non smoking in room." Ruined our expensive salt lamps in the spa area by leaving them off. we explained upon check-in that these need to be left on 24hrs in spa/bathroom areas or they disintegrate into water, a notice is displayed clearly in same areas. She cancelled her confirmed massage on the spot without prior warning, we had turned away other genuine clients to ensure this time was hers. From observation & overheard comments from staff, we are sure she has been sent here from a known local competitor. Guest we provide breakfast between 8 to 9, we do advise we deliver hot/fresh breakfast to your room but exact time to the minute is not guaranteed. We also give option re-brkfst can be left in your fridge day before, there is a kitchenette with cooking/heating facilities in the sub-penthouse Moon Goddess where you stayed. We offered you a late check-out of 11 am as we text you a advising you a 3 pm instead of 2 pm, our mistake. Our property has lovely views of Maleny Dairy farm hills & the recently renovated retreat is First Class decorated in the finest overseas luxurious materials which was uniquely designed by Dalila in Egyptian Mediterranean theme & built by a very talented Master Craftsman Builder. We think you should have stayed your 1 night perhaps at Mooloolaba or Gold Coast where these areas would be more befitting to your character & likes. Here we offer a beautiful relaxing divine nurturing experience to people that are appreciative & willing to receive. Cheers
