It was 5 km along a dirt road....not menrioned in the blurb. Comfortable bed & decent sized rooms. I kind of thought as it is bed & breakfast that I would get a cooked breakfast not just cereal & toast It was very noisy during the night - I could hear people moving around & talking & dishes clattering. Not very restful

In confirming your booking guests are advised that "breakfast provisions are placed in your unit" also The Garden Suite "does not have any cooking facilities". I am sorry you thought it was noisy but sometimes the possums have 'races' around the roof ant all hours! Your hosts are usually in bed by 10.00pm.

located a fair distance from the main road,

Pros: google
Cons: drinking water
they have limited drinking water, discoloured. They could of supplied purchased bottled water. For the price that you pay would of been acceptable. The unsealed road to the location could be a problem if the roads wet, need to advise. Otherwise would classify it as a pleasant experience.

I apologise if you found that the water was discoloured. Our water is 'harvested' from the roofs of the buildings, we have no mains water thus we boil the water for drinking purposes. Many locations have unsealed roads and we are fortunate to have a road that is well maintained by the council. The property location is well described in website listings and guests are sent a letter confirming their booking with further information.

Incredibly peaceful

This was super! Wallabies were everywhere and once we booked in, we were free to explore. It was incredibly peaceful and quiet. It was a real treat being able to stay in the countryside. We loved it!!

Windsong B&B Tasmania

Lovely secluded setting and very friendly host. Excellent home cooked dinner was provided for a reasonable additional cost.

Peaceful retreat

Pros: The peace and quiet.
Cons: Totally satisfied.
Location: Close to Triabunna and Maria Island. Nearby Swansea is lovely and the drive into Hobart is picturesque and straight forward.
Loved arriving to see wallabies hopping around and to hear nothing but the birds and breeze in the beautiful garden. So quiet and restful - exactly what a B&B should be. Delightful host, lovely meal and comfortable rooms. Thoroughly recommended for those looking for tranquility and excellent access to wildlife.
