Cascais is a wonderful place to vacation with lots of sun and surrounded by white sandy beaches, many leasure activities, sports, tourism.
There are several golf courses in the region: Penha Longa, Estoril golf, Quinta da Marinha, Quinta da Beloura, Oitavos..
The village of Cascais as glorious summers from May until October with averages temperatures of around 30ºC.

Very helpful and obliging hosts , the apartment has everything you could need , all top quality and very clean , excellent and very secure garage (ideal for golf clubs ) 15 minutes walk down to town , great value Chinese just around the corner . If you want an Irish bar try o’louans , it’s way nicer atmosphere and less false than O’Neils and the Guinness tastes pretty good .

Great stay

Fernando Cruz, the owner of the the property couldn't have been more helpful. The property was perfect since we needed an elevator building with air conditioning and a washer and dryer. Because I have trouble with steps, it would have been perfect if it was closer to the center of Cascais. If you have no problem walking it's only a 15 minute walk. We would definitely stay here again!

Lovely clean, bright apartment. Very comfortable stay here. A bit of a downhill walk into Cascais town and the beaches but only costs about 4e in a taxi. Fernando and Marie Cruz organised our transfer from the Airport which was great.

Very good place for a long stay in Cascais

My wife and I happily spent the entire month of January 2023 here. The owner's photos do not lie - the place is very roomy, especially for us as a couple, but the addition of another couple or two or three kids would not detract too much from the comfort. The main bedroom is huge with a large bed (Portuguese King) and a huge amount of storage in closets, which are fitted with both drawers and hanger rods. The living room is quite large and well accommodates the two sofas and the dining room table. The two roll out beds in the living room, however, are positioned awkwardly, and would require significant movement of furniture in order to make use of them. Not a factor for us, but something to consider for those who wish to rent for a large group. The kitchen is good, but, as per the photos, counter space is limited, and having the fridge and oven on the opposite side of the room is ergonomically challenging. Serious cooks might find this kitchen a bit disappointing, but we managed well enough. We met most of our grocery needs at a nearby small store , but we still needed to take the longer walk to the Auchan store for some needs, and the trip back, uphill, was a bit of a hump. The location on a busy street makes sitting outside on the large balconies a rather noisy experience - not an issue for our January visit because it is was too cold outside, (and it is quiet enough inside) but it would be disappointing for a stay during warmer months. Fernando is an excellent host - he arranged for transportation from the Lisbon airport to Cascais, met us at the unit and showed us around, and promptly and effectively addressed the few issues that arose, all in good English.

The Cascais Experience

My husband and I stayed at the apartment in late November. The weather was not the greatest, but the apartment was. It was very comfortable, and in a perfect location. We were able to walk into town without any problems. It's location is just outside the historical center of Cascais. We even caught the bus to take a day trip to Sintra right outside the apartment. The host recommended two restaurants in the neighborhood - Bela Azul was authentic Portuguese comida frequented by the locals. Mais do Mesmo (which means More of the Same) is a contemporary twist on typical Portuguese cuisine. They were both excellent. If we visit Cascais again we would definitely look into renting this apartment once more. Our hosts were very accommodating and communication we excellent.

Great stay.

Fernando was amazing host, helping us with everything from airport transfer to restaurant and places to go. The apartment is well located, very spacious, with a lot natural light, clean and modern. I particularly love his automatic shades (black out) on all windows. We are a group of 5 people, and there were beds for everybody. I just love it this apartment and I can't wait to go back. Delightful 4 week Stay in Cascais

Very well equipped, spotlessly clean and good location. We appreciated the high specification of the apartment, from the electric shutters enabling restful sleep to the outside covered area to dry our clothes. If you are looking for a spacious, super clean apartment then this is for you. Fernando was great at communicating and very amicable about our late check in. Transfers were all arranged from airport which was a great help. A good walk back from the centre but not too far - helped to burn off all the food and wine consumed that week. Great apartment/Great stay in Cascais

First trip to Portugal is in the books and our family (2 adults, 3 children aged 15, 12 and 3.5) had a great time! This apartment was a PERFECT home base for our 5 nights in Cascais because it is so comfortable, clean, bright, safe/secure and spacious. When we were at home, we could spread out and never felt crowded on top of each other at all. The pictures really are an accurate representation of the place. The location is ideal - so important since we had no car - with easy walking access to the center of town Cascais with its restaurants, beach, grocery store, shops and the bus and train stations. Other reviews have mentioned that it’s a downhill walk into town, 10 minutes or so, and this is true but we didn’t find the walk back up difficult either. In any case, there is a bus stop just across from the apartment (in front of the pastry shop where we went daily) if you need to avoid the walk back up or taxis and Uber are other options. The 403 bus headed into Sintra stops just across from the apartment, though the 417 (which makes less stops) is another option into Sintra that we caught at the bus station and an easy train ride took us into Lisbon in 40 mins. The owners were so helpful and charming from the moment we booked the apartment - helping to arrange a transfer from/to the airport, showing us around the wonderful apartment at check in, and giving us good advice for our visit. Fernando couldn’t have been nicer! Should we ever get the chance to return to Cascais, we would definitely stay here again!

Home from Home

Very comfortable, well equipped apartment. Spent 10 days with my wife and a couple of friends, loved the apartment and location. Only a short stroll down the hill into the centre of Cascais, only 4€ taxi fare back when we didn't feel like the walk. Fernando was waiting when we arrived, showed us around the apartment and left us to enjoy our holiday, he replied to all text within a few minutes recommending a couple of excellent restaurants. Pretty sure we'll return as thoroughly enjoyed the holiday, apartment and the Lisbon area.

Amazingly perfect with caring owners

We have rented in Cascais over the years. This is, hands down, the best apartment we have ever stayed in. From the check-in with Fernando, to the final closing of the door, with keys left inside (sad), it was so comfortable, clean, cared for, and well-equipped. Parking was easy, walking to the sea was easy. There is a lovely fish restaurant within 2 blocks; a small but brilliantly supplied grocery store; a small but very good pharmacy; easy recycling and garbage disposal. The kitchen had all that we needed for cooking and coffee gulping and the dining room table was large. Everything was of a great size. No sneaky stretched photos here. The washing machine was easy to use, and would also dry, but there is a balcony off of the kitchen with 6 lines and a lot of clothes pins. Great a/c, when needed with huge windows to let in the cool evening air. Security metal roll down shutters - which we needed when a storm passed through - to keep the apartment dry. Lovely linens, both the sheets and towels. Well, obviously I could go on and on, but will stop with a heartfelt thank you to both Fernando and Maria Jose, the owners. There when we needed them, and not there when we did not. It’s fabulous, truly. A lovely new apartment, shiny clean, with genteel owners. In this time of the world, nothing more can possibly be wanted! Will we return? Are you crazy? OF COURSE!

Fabulous Apartment.

This was our first holiday to Cascais and we all loved it. The apartment was modern, clean and very spacious.It contained everything we required for a very comfortable stay. All amenities were within walking distance.The transport links were excellent to Lisbon and other surrounding beaches. Fernando and Maria met us on our arrival and were extremely friendly and helpful. They gave us information about the apartment and Cascais. They also provided us with their contact details should we have needed any further advice. Fernado kindly organised our transport back to the airport for us which was also excellent. We would certainly recommend staying in this apartment to others.

Amazing apartment

Stayed in this fabulous apartment for 7 nights and we found the whole experience wonderful ,from the meeting with Fernando and his charming wife to the transfer which they kindly arranged for us. The apartment is probably the best we have stayed in with more than ample room for our party (2 couples) .spotlessly clean with everything you might need provided. The decor and appliances are ultra modern and the large main balcony perfect for a pre dinner glass of wine, the first bottle a gift from our hosts The apartment is a 10 min stroll into the old town with an array of restaurants and bars. We would most definately recommend the apartment Thank you for a fantastic holiday

Smart and comfortable home from home!

We have just returned from our 4th stay in the apartment so our frequency speaks for itself! The apartment is airy and spacious with an efficient air con system which we needed to prevent melting! The apartment is well equipped and smart in presentation so a real feeling of comfort and relaxation before exploring beautiful Cascais. We love the town and the restaurants, walks and stunning beaches coupled with friendly and obliging locals make this a great place to holiday. Fernando and Maria Jose are very accommodating apartment owners and our communications with them have always been prompt and efficient.
