Good location, great hosts but outdated

Pros: The hosts are very welcoming and nice people.
Cons: Furniture not comfortable and outdated, overall the establishment looks like it should be overhauled and given significant attention to be competitive
Location: The location was amidst rolling farm land hills just west of Kiama which was very pretty, but too quiet for our enjoyment.
The hosts are extremely friendly and attentive however our garden room was small, had no chair or table to sit at and the bed was barely passable in comfort. We were woken at 7am by the clanging of plates, etc for breakfast preparation and the dining chairs were actually so uncomfortable that we couldn't sit on them without getting a sore back; the lounge furniture was not much better. Admittedly the view from back verandah was the highlight of the stay.

Thank you for your feedback. Funny, cos the message you left in the guest book was glowing, and you enjoyed yourself so much while you were here, so we aren't quite sure what happened after you left. But we will take your comments into consideration and keep asking guests for their opinions. Luckily we have a 9.1 rating on Expedia so we believe we must please most people, but there's always room for improvement.

On the coast and in the countryside

Pros: Position Hosts Room setup Comfy bed!!
Cons: It's not new, so a few cracks in tiles etc. Didn't bother me.
Location: Kiama cafes, shopping, beaches. Jamberoo, scenic drives and lookouts, Rainforest.
Kiama B&B has been set up by people who really really know B&Bs. It's both personal and private, and has everything right where you need it. To start with the position is awesome, a couple of minutes from busy beach town Kiama and the freeway, but looking out over the serene pasturelands of Jamberoo Valley; the best of both worlds. Our supplied map directions were excellent; and when we were running late, good text messages. We stayed in the spa cabin, which is set up as a large cabin with one accommodation each end, and a common lounge/kitchen in the middle. Great for privacy and handy for facilities, so we could have a fridge full of whatever (wine & cheese in our case), and space to prepare it. A lovely verandah overlooks the scenery, with nice chairs and tables for a quiet evening. Super comfy king bed, nice big corner spa (easily fits 2 plus-size people). Spare pillows, blankets & towels in the room so no need to keep asking for extras we may need. The hosts were friendly and breakfast lovely, a light cereal/fruit/yoghurt with croissants/toast, fresh coffee/tea and hot brekkie upon request up in the main house. Definitely recommend a stay here, good value and an excellent home away from home.

Nice B & B with a good location

Lovely hospitable and knowledgeable owners Marian and Tony. Great location just minutes from Kiama. Beautifully well kept grounds with a lovely view. Impeccably kept residence. Would definitely return for another visit. Thanks guys.

Quiet and peaceful

Pros: The serenity, the new people we met around the breakfast table and nothing was a problem.
Cons: Maybe a trim of the trees to be able to take in the beautiful panoramic views of the rolling hills and countryside.
Location: Wonderful cafes, restaurants, markets by the sea, great scenic drives, plenty of photo opportunities and sightseeing, all not far from our B&B.
The husband and wife team at the B&B made our stay very enjoyable. They were very friendly and the Continental breakfast was above and beyond our expectations. We felt we were out in the countryside, but it was only 2 minutes drive to the centre of town. Very secluded, quiet and peaceful. We would highly recommend this B&B.

Best of two worlds, beaches and countryside

A very pleasant experience, clean and fresh room nestled in the hills with a view of undulated country side.... little slice of paradise. The bed was one of the most comfortable, Hilton level of comfort. The service was friendly and the hosts were very helpful.

Pleasant convenient luxury in delightful bush area

Hosts are true pro's and know exactly how to make a b&b stay a brilliant experience. From the lovely surrounds, great personal touches sprinkled everywhere to the 5 star continental breakfast everything is done well. And Kiama is only 2 minutes away and has a lot of quality resources for a pleasant stay. We stayed at Tony & Marion's place as a luxury stopover on the last day of our Tassie trip. Now we need to plan a Kiama getaway and stay a bit longer...!

Pros: Magnificent views over farming land. Wonderful hosts. Great breakfasts. Good location.
Cons: Furnishings are getting a bit dated.
Location: Close to Kiama township, Blowhole and beaches. Manicure Falls is closely as is he gorgeous village go Jamberoo. An easy drive to Berry and Gerringong
We enjoyed staying here. Very close to lots of attractions and good eateries. Hosts are very welcoming and hospitable. Beautiful views from our room across the lush dairy country.
