A Memorable Stay with Unexpected Perks
This stay was definitely one to remember. When we arrived, we were greeted by a pile of trash right outside the property. Thankfully, the porch light wasn’t working, so we didn’t have to see it at night—problem solved!Inside, the bedding had a distinct musty smell, and we even found a few stains and some pet hair sprinkled across the furniture and in the air. It felt like the previous guests were still there in spirit!One of the bedroom windows didn’t close all the way, which added a refreshing breeze—who needs AC when you’ve got that kind of natural ventilation?The fridge had some broken shelves, and several lights weren’t working, but we made it work—flashlights and cooler bags to the rescue.The host did offer a partial refund, as long as we left a 5-star review. Definitely a unique experience—where else can you clean up and write your own rating in exchange for a discount?If you’re looking for an adventure and don’t mind rolling up your sleeves, this might just be the place for you. Just pack a sense of humor—and maybe some disinfectant.
