Private Cabin on Water, Fish & Boat from YOUR DOCK, amazing sunsets, no stairs!!

From the moment you turn onto the property the view of the water and dock will completely relax you!

When you open the door you see the charm of this cute little cabin with finished wood walls and high ceilings and Buck Deer themed. It's cozy but has everything needed and looks brand new. Cabin was custom built by a family of builders that planned every detail. Your host is one of them!

The dock is calling for you! You notice the same charm on the porch with rocking chairs as you head out to dock passing by the firepit gathering space ideal for night time campfires and smores. The dock will awe you. You know you will have a great stay! The dock has electric, lights, and the slip fits any size boat. The dock is great for fishing, swimming, watching sunsets, and star gazing.

The large lot is surrounded by woods yet in a safe neighborhood with fulltime residents close by. The two large porches act as additional space for meal prep and eating and enjoying the rocking chairs and hammock. You'll find peace in the beautiful nature which provides a disconnect from the stress of life - there is no stress at Buck Creek Cabin.

The main rule is everyone has to be on the dock for sunset every day. And it is a great spot for star gazing or enjoy a gentle rain shower under the covered portion.

Kids and pets love it here with plenty of space to run and enjoy and they love sleeping in the loft! The ladder to loft may be difficult for younger children, please be aware.

There is plenty of space for parking cars and trailers and there is a RV outlet.

There is one full bathroom and an outdoor hot water shower - there's something nice about a shower with sky view. There is a kitchen with all kitchenware - note there is no stove/oven but 2 gas grills with pot burners and a toaster oven, microwave. Cooking outdoors is a part of the Buck Creek Cabin experience.

If you like to hike - the state park is just 3 miles south by car or boat. There is a marina there and they have a swim area and playground. If you like amazing views while hiking you need to visit Providence Canyon nearby. Kolomoli mounds is interesting too.

Barb, our Host, was very responsive and helpful. Cabin is small but cozy, clean and comfortable. Enjoyed fishing from the dock, reading on the porch and watching all the deer! Covered carport and covered porch was perfect. Keep in mind, we came in late October, so our activities was less about being in the water or boating, but it is a huge lake! We relaxed at the fire pit. Made s'mores. Went on strolls down the road to watch all the deer! The cabin is appropriately named...Buck everywhere! Our teen daughter liked the loft for her privacy since there wasn't a bedroom, it offered some separate space for her. Our dog loved the yard and watching all the geese and fish we reeled in. She is a Lake dog now!

Fishing Weekend

My son and I had a great time. The cabin was clean and perfectly sized for us. The only recommendation I have is the lighting. Dimmer switches seemed faulty and lights flickered when on. Lamp light was sufficient enough to not need them but I recommend having an electrician check on just for safety reasons. Otherwise a great place.

Awesome Lakefront Camp

A great property on the lake in a quiet, private location. The camp was very cozy and clean. I love the deer theme and saw several on the property during my stay. I was able to fish from the dock -it is a great set-up for a boater. Very cool cabin! Highly recommended!

Great getaway - small but sufficient

Kitchen well equipped! Can't stand DISH TV - but really don't watch much TV when we spend time away from home. Rather spend our time outdoors and take day trips. Don't know how even kids can use the ladder to get to loft. Lucky we didn't need to use. Wish the back porch was screened it. They have plenty of outdoor tables and chairs in the covered area where front door is as well as two very large BBQ grills (one front - one back) This unit is perfect for a couple wanting to get away for a couple of days.
