A very clean backpackers accommodation, Clean White linen, daily cleaned place, well maintained and friendly staff. My mattress was sinking a bit. My daughters was very good. Very close to the university, cafes, to the town/ shopping.

We stayed in the twin room with ensuite, excellent room, however our check in was not a great experience for first time in Dunedin. I had messaged the day before that we would be arriving at 9pm an hour after check in closed, upon arriving another guess let us in, then we were confronted by a grumpy manager who accused me of not reading their email with instructions of uplifting our key. After going on her computer the email had only been sent an hour before our arrival and while we were in flight, she then blamed the mistake on her staff. We will not be staying there again, if she is the Manager however the Place and location were perfect.

Confirmed stay was cancelled
We didnt end up staying here despite hotels.com confirming our stay and continued to email us updates then send us this.... despite us contacting them several times saying Kiwis Nest had cancelled our booking because they didnt have a room for us. Hotels.com you need sort this.
